Hi,

no need for a long story this time. You all know the common problem of uneven teams which happens again and again and often it takes whole minutes until members get over their ego and join the weaker team.

Now my proposal to make this happen a bit faster is, that we should allow high admins or anyone who has the !put command to !put members to the other team if they don't join it themselves. The member who gets put should be the one with the highest level. Naturally, if only 1 TWC member is in the stronger team, he/she has to be the !putted one.

Example:

Axis:
Antho
Guest A
Guest B

Allies:
Storch
Teammate
Guest C
Guest D
Guest E

In this case Antho has the right to put me (Storch) to Axis after it has been said in main chat that the teams are uneven. Of course Antho should wait a few seconds to give everyone the chance to join Axis themselves.
This right does not count for guests, we may never !put them. The only exception for that might be if the guest joins spec on purpose and then joins the stronger team (this is only possible with bots in the server).

I hope this will help to solve these annoying situations when a members ego is bigger than the desire to have fair teams.

If I recall correctly, Ligustah made a plugin that forces balanced teams automatically.

Even if you planted whole map of mines, its your duty to keep teams balanced. guests should be always the last choice for fixing teams. member need to step up as first ones.

The problem is, which guest would you choose? People will start to ask: "why me?" / "why not XX?"

An idea would be the guest with the highest XP. We can try that and see how it works out.

Indeed that's a problem sometimes, especially if there is no other engineer in the team I (or any other engi) leave. Then the objective is often over within a few more minutes. That's why I ask other people to switch sometimes, when I see that I am the only engineer in the team.

Nonono! Auto balanced is used on Vietnam and it's the worst thing ever

Members should switch teams to balance them on their own. It (still) doesn't happen on ND. So, yes, i think that high admins should have the right to !put you to opposite team if you don't do it on your own.

Guests should be moved only if they join the strongest team on purpose repeatedly.
