Solved High ping problem (archived by Mimus)

Hello there fellow members
As you may notice I have been WHINING hard about my high ping for at least 2 weeks. It doesnt go under 120 (today it was 140) whereas it should be 90 normally. I have tried countless methods to solve it, they seemed not to work either. Consequently, ping is higher than usual despite my internet speed is quite fine and normal.

Not to cause any further disturbance, I expect some useful ways from you to get this thing solved.

But 140 Pings in my opinion is not a highest ping,Generally I have over 240-260 and I feel normal in it, btw can u test ur Connection at speedtest.net and show it right over here ?
P.S:ND was lagging a little bit when I was there at 2:20 PM idk maybe its your connection or its the server

If your ping is higher than usual, it usually alerts that something is wrong. For example, increment by 40 could ruin one's gameplay even if his ping is 100 with that while you can play smoothly with your +250 ping. Speed test results are normal, ofc I tested it =).

did you try execing back the default cfg or reinstalling the game? it's stupid but it might work if you changed some random connection setting
do you use cable or wifi? also could you make a test at www.pingtest.net and post results?

i see the problem comes from your ISP
well your ISP is rated 2.2/5
that's not really good man, you should consider changing ISP or contact them mentioning you have problems with your net
