If i will see another post about Add map to ND i double dare you [****] i will quit. It has no point! No DOwnload means basic map you install with ET (6).
If you want to play more maps in jaymod then suggest something like Change Begginers to Jaymod. It has point. Most of you like jaymod and want to loyal to TWC but also want to play extra maps in jaymod than that.
If you just want to play on other maps the mod doesnt matter then visit our Vietnam and Begginers server.

Well sorry for posting this here, but I have another 'justified opinion' as Clysma demanded and I'm not able to reopen topics But maybe it even fits in this topic as well.

I just want to come back to what Joris said in the other topic, because it really made me smile.
Assuming that those who agreed with adding new maps to ND hate the server and such.. Well actually the suggestion came by one of the most active ppl in ND, and without showing off I might say that I'm not the most inactive guy either, do we really look as if we hate playing in ND right now? We just see bigger potencial in the server, to make it even more active and more interesting than it is now.

Even Joint said it would be possible to add new maps on page 2 in that topic, but never mind, he's just the founder of this clan, why should his opinion count anything..

And saying that you are disgusted that we even discuss about something like that? It was a simple suggestion, nothing more nothing less. We didn't force anyone to agree with us did we? You could have just say 'no' because of this and that, but disgusted? C'mon.. If we can expect reactions like this, maybe we should reconsider making suggestions at all in future..

And why do topics get closed so quick all the time? That topic was created just a few hours ago, what if someone who has something valid to say couldn't be online in those few hours? Did any MST even post his opinion to that matter? The 'highest' opinion provived was the one of Joint, but you simply overrun it by showing off your 'disgust' and by closing the topic before anyone could disagree with you.

You should really get off your high admin horse sometimes and get your nose back to the ground, it would suit you well..

I'm over with this, go ahead and close this topic too so we all can continue doing what we're best at.

As another mst opinion (joint alrwady wrote sth, go and re-read it!):

1. closings
closing topics which are not yet fully discussed isnt really a good idea. However, i understand the need of closingtopics which more and more become "hate topics" because of all the shown disgust. Still, it wouldve been a better idea to just remind ppl of putting grpundedreasons and arguments in their answer to an suggestion - otherwise their post is as useful as a knife for edward scissorhands.

2. new maps
2.1. jaymod?
Whats so great about jaymod new maps, that you want them instead of just having fun playing on new maps e.g. On hs or viet?

2.2. new server
Although we do have the money and space for setting up a new server, the question remains: will it be full? If we revive blue, with new jaymod maps, will it become a well-visited server or just a new sniper? Atm were on the activity-drop phase (school starts), so its quiteprobanle this server wont have a lot of visitors. And another almost always empty server doesnt make a clan look good.

2.3. lots of downloading-stuff?
Actually, its true that these days, a small new map on nd wouldnt jarm a lot of people - still, there are guys with an awful connection who like not to download more than needed. But the main point, as far as i get it concerning nodownlad saying a classic server, is the fact that with ndownload, we kinda "raise the flame" of the main, inner wolfenstein et gameplay. People feel conneced to the way nd is just now - and although activity dropped, thats just because of rhe low-phase --> nd is still, wirh its classic maps a/the most active twc server with loads of guests.

2.4. guests
A lot of members and guests like the classic maps, not because there is no download, but because they just like the way these maps are and are fine with it not being changed. Just a fact.

2.4. the kinds of visitors
Just to add a thought, lets look at the main 2 sides of current et players: old gamer and youngsters.
While im pretty sure that younger et player like new maps with new stuff and new obj, the older class usually prefers to play on well-known maps, feeling comfortable in having fun worh a game that is with you for a long time.
Now, if these youngsters join our clan bevause we have new maps on nd, or if olders jpin because we habe claddic maps - what would you prefer? Not judging anyone or anyhing right here, but i guess its worldwide known that younger people are just not as grounded as older ones, and tend to do stupid stuff that harms the environment if being pissed off.
Just sth to think about.

2.5. settings on nd
Remember the size of nd maps compared to others. Consider the fact that nd settngs are atm all about fast and heavy gameplay ( panzer rel. Time, mines). Is that playable on smaller maps?

2.6. more and more maps?
Although some might say ts juuuuust one map to add - who says t wont be another one soon because ppl like it? And a new soundpack....maybe some funny skins...etc. Nd might turn into a "HugeDownlad" server. Maybe.

Do, we have several solutions:

A. Setting up blue
Activity? Maybe need to close another server for it?

New full server

B. Adding new maps
Guests leaving? Loosing long-lasting memories? (Sniper is also still there...why not nd?)?

More guests to nd

C. No change
Activity drops?

Activity stays high

Actually, not as an mst but as one of the "oldschool" gamers, ive always liked nd like it is now, since its not the maps tjat ate so much fun to play there, but the fact that you can play the same thing over and over again with different people, in different situations. If i feel like trying new maps i go to hs/etc. Though, for me there isnt really a dfference between jaymod and other stuff. Thats different for other ppl.




Id like to see more arguments for and against it, of different ppl. Most of all from nd ,embers since they are affected the most. And, ofc, id love to see some guest opinions.

Ps: if i see another hating in this thread in the style of "shame on you for suggesting" or sth like that, im gonna insta-delete it. And be sure ill add one point to the immature-section of that person.

I think some of the members misinterpreted the original topic.

I don't want ND to be BG or HS... just to add one or two maps to make it more fun, and leave the stock one.

Even a single map would be ok so it's 7 maps and not just 6.

What about caen? It's big, great objective, lots of work for engies and lots of windows for sniping plus the tank... and it's in the same theme as the original maps.

Whats so great about jaymod new maps, that you want them instead of just having fun playing on new maps e.g. On hs or viet?
