Hi there,

recently it happens again and again that players go inactive/afk for long times without joining spec. This is another factor to ruin the teambalance quite often.

I already try to advise those people to join spec when they go afk, but still it reoccurs again and again. Since there are not many (active) admins in ND who have the !put command, the only useable option left is the !kick command. But I guess it does not leave such a great impression on guests being kicked out of the server for such an idiotic reason.

I know in other mods than jaymod there is the option of putting players automatically to spec in case they didn't move for 180 seconds. I'm wondering is it possible in Jaymod too? Or anything similar in that direction? It would be very helpful.

If there is no such option, then I'd like to suggest adding the !put command to lower admin levels. Even though I know there might have been some abusing of this command in the past.

However, afaik, Jaymod kicks you.

Jaymod: kicks the player.

At least I remember it being like that.

I'm not sure if there is another cvar that would do what you are proposing.

no... it would be abused for sure... remember we had f.u and other trollers just recently...

i'm ok for autokick but with a much larger time like 25 min (1 map)... 30 min even better

Out of the two groups, members and non-members, it would be the latter that would take the most offence at being kicked and would consider not coming back, losing the server players.

Votes can't be abused; there is a pass % threshold that must be reached before a vote is actioned. If an active player is getting voted to spec (abuse) then the person initiating the vote must have over half the current players as accomplices or the vote would simply fail causing no harm other than the screen spam that all votes cause.

The only problem I can see with adding this vote is that spec votes might not receive enough votes to pass it thus leaving the afker in game.

Those votes will never pass. There are always some 'group' who doesnt even vote or just votes F2 to everything.
If there are 20 people on server and like 10 of those people are members. Out of 10 members like 7-8 will vote and out of visitors its few.
