Since we have new maps on ND i was just wondering why does my fps drop from 200 to 40 on venice ?

Did you check your r_primitives ? I don't have this problem so I dunno :/

what's your com_hunkMegs ?
this determines the amount of MB

com_hunkMegs sets the allowed memory for the graphics of the game.

Usage:
/seta com_hunkMegs 256

Values example: 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 (of course it can be between them, higher or less also)

Note:
Don’t use more than 3/4 (75%) of your actual memory in your computer.
Usually 256 or 512 is fairly enough, even for the most complex enemy territory map graphics.

well it isnt that hard. But it is smart to know how many MB's your PC has. But I think 128 should be save and enough to solve the problem. (Default is 56)
so ingame:
Open consolescreen (~) and type

Code:

/com_hunkmegs 128

But you can also change it in your script.

256 should be more then enough, i doubt its what causing your lags though

I use 1024 after i changed it to that from the default my frame rate stayed steady :P

I think there is a limit in how much ET uses. I think its 256 but not sure
