So eating additional resources with DDoS won't affect your VPSes because they have bad HDD performance? Of course a weak attack wouldn't do much harm in most servers but who knows what a no-life hacking random ET servers has to offer...

Let's just say he would have needed about 10 to 12 times the resources to have an effect on the network performance of only one of the servers.

Also, as of today, the authenticator has been activated again, so he won't be able to use his (so called) "hacks" anymore.

The current lag problems are indeed caused by inexplicably poor HDD performance.
