Snor, I find matureness much more significant than being skillful. Of course, our members have to know how to trickjump well. However, active players have the lion's share to join our community =)

Recruiting was set to piyo becouse me and teleport prefered the maturity of members over the skills, one of reason that we were able to reborn it. Imo that shouldnt be changed

Yup, it's indeed a bad idea to request medior skilled people to join imo, the fanbase of ET isn't so big anymore and setting high standards will minimize the chance to find new members, let alone find any.
We even talked about removing a try-out completely in TJ, for the simple reason that if you play TJ alot, sooner or later you are bound to get better, if you just stick with it. Let's say i'd rather accept one guy like Andre ( ) than 10 like Hemppa, quality over quantity as i said.On a sidenote, i noticed your willingness to be recruiter, and with time everyone in TJ gets his/her chance to climb up, as i think all of you have noticed before, just give it time and it'll happen ![]() Grtz.......................
I remember talking about some kind of FTs within TJ wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy (add a couple more y) back for cgazers and non cgazers. But back then, 99% were cgazers so it was scraped. Idk how the members are now, but I do appreciate the tier system that you proposed. However, this tier system should not yield additional benefits such as commands.

However, this tier system should not yield additional benefits such as commands. My general idea with the tier system was not to include any command benefits at all. I'm not sure who it was on the server that said this, but "a great trickjumper does not make a great admin," and I completely agree with that. So it would be merely for appearence and nothing else. I'm not sure how this entire thing would unfold. If more seem to like the idea of this, we could always initiate some test phase with it and see how it's received. Naturally, before that, some thinking needs to be put into where the tiers are set, how many and how it would be regulated. But that's of no relevance yet I suppose untill the idea is agreed upon by the rest of you all. |
