Since Ive got a lot of fun baking cakes (yeees, i dont only bake cookies :P), i thought about posting them here.

Lord of the Rings/Saurons Eye Cake: Chocolate Flavour with Sugar Paste Fondant and...again Food Colouring


Snake Cake: No Flavor, Self Made Sugar Fondant, Food Colouring, Nut Eyes

I think I've seen the bottom 2 before, but the leopard cake looks great, how the hell can you make that with marshmallow :O or are they only inside?. Is that the thing you got Lig working on btw (Or shouldn't I have said that out in the public:P)

Whaaaaaaaaat? I've been working in restaurants and hotel for 3 years now and I haven't seen that kind of cake. First one looks so awesome, very VERY nice.

Can't wait to see more. :P Ugh, I usually don't bake cakes, but I'm sure I will start soon.

I am so glad you explained the second cake..... I was more than a little scared at first. However I am a 39 year old man and the closest I have come to Art, was a neighbor of mine growing up. His name was Art and his wife baked some hellacious cookies

@ boll: The Marshmallows arent inside, but ouside :P I havent had all the stuff at home for Fondant, so i forced lig to help me stir that huuuuge hard mass of warm marshmallows and a loooot of powder sugar :P

@ zone: you work at a hotel? :O coooool. And yeah, lets bake some cakes

And thiiiiis is the making of + done picture of my moms birthday cake (50th):

3 layers, first: 26cm, normal flavour and strawberry-cream, second: 20cm, chocolate flavour and white-chocolate-cream, third: 16cm, eggnogg-flavour and buttercream

covered in marshmallow-fondant (selfmade ofc) and handcrafted gumpaste (some thingie like fondant, but bought because theres crazy stuff in it like glycerine) flowers, leaves and perls, and handpainted (u can eat it all^^)
