Concerning the meeting itself,
I'd like to thank all of you, we had lots of fun, but it was certainly worth the lengthy drive.
It's a pity that I had to leave that soon, it would have been fun to stay with you for the night too.

I'm looking forward to the next meeting

Bedtime would have been 9 pm.

No alcohol or weed.

No loud music.

What happened to the watermelon aka Moanraker's baby? He had to carry it all the way to the beach and then back when he was at the meeting and nothing ever happened to the watermelon.

So this is my point of view if anyone bothers to read it, might be lenghty. Woke up around 5, went to the airport, landed in Amsterdam some time later. Was hoping that after I got my baggage I would go out the door, see a sign and my limo driver and his co-pilot next to it. Yes, I was expecting a limo or something close to it. Got my luggage, went out the door and nothing. So I walked for 2 minutes, found a map, saw a starbucks and went there. Waited there for a bit and again nothing. Looked at the map again and saw there was another starbucks. Which is weird, why do you need 2 starbucks'? I know that there is one on every corner in america but why does one need 2 of them in one airport? So I kept going between the 2 and eventually like 3 hours passed, and still nothing had happened. I was expecting at one point for like 15 people to come to my rescue since I still assumed that 15 or so people would attend the meeting. But after walking around aimlessly and asking some people I found things I recognized, computers. Had to pay 3€ to use one for 15 minutes but it was well worth it. PM'd Mimus and I was saved. It might have been a cry for help but it was a manly cry for help. After 20 minutes they arrived at a burger king, luckily there was only 1 of those and I found them that time. Saw lig's car and it wasn't a limo o.o but it was enough to bring 3 people and a bunch of stuff to the meetup.

On the way to the meetup we saw many many weird buildings, some were round, some had triangles in them, some were even more strange. Then we saw lots of canals everywhere, cows, sheep, horses, weird art(presumably it was a dog with 2 heads and 2 legs) and we just told stories on the way and came to the conclusion that amsterdam's architects are all high or just weird.

Got to the meetup, met uzero and yourdog. Hadn't played with them in-game even once but they were cool guys, no complaints. Started putting up the tent, turned out to be harder than we thought, had to redo it multiple times. It had a few flaws, one in particular that I will talk about later. Everyone got the shirts, love mine. In the evening joint and xena joined. Went to the harbor and mimi invented the new anthem for the netherlands. Told her to write it down but nope. Got back to the tent and some of us went to bed, some of us stayed up. Yourdog tripped on a piece of rope holding the tent up, I was told joint has a picture of that. During the night under the tent floor, there was a metal thing that tents have that you use to stick it to the ground, L shaped things. One of those was only half way in the ground and it was right under that bit of the tent floor where I was sleeping. >.<

Day number dos. Woke up, lig and xena went to the store to get stuff for french toast. Xena brought us cookies or rather waffles, they taste really good. A bit later, after we had breakfast, xena and uzero had to go but not to worry, it was moanraker's time to shine. And shine he did, wearing the clan shirt like a boss. On that day we went to the beach, moan carried the watermelon from lig's car to the spot we chose on the beach, then he walked all the way back to the car, because he forgot his bag, and then walked all the way back again to us. We had half of a tent put up, looked weird but it did the job. It wanted to fly away all the time tough, so we had lig in it, who had the important job of being a brick, so the tent wouldn't fly away. While on the beach we, made a twc logo, dug a hole, made a picture of the clan dog digging that hole, burried lig, burned mimus, wanted to bury her too but didn't get that far, talked about stuff related to clan and stuff not related to clan, dropped cookies in the sand and took plenty of pictures. As we were going back from the beach, moan had to carry the watermelon all the way to the car again. When we arrived at the camping spot, some of us took a shower and then got the wifi things from the reception, which wasn't all that good but it allowed us to do the webcam thing. Then we made dinner, lig dropped a bunch of spaghetti on the ground. During the webcam thing, moan left and gave everyone at the meetup a big hug. Close to the end of webcaming joint came by. Mimus was really happy after like 5 minutes. Very fun for all of us too. After joint left we started going to sleep, cleaned up outside the tent a bit, yourdog tryed to clean up the spaghetti from the ground and ended up throwing them on a tree branch. Mimus stayed up like half the night, just whispering random things, don't know if anyone was actually listening to her or not. Somehow we managed to get some sleep then.

And in the morning, me and lig woke up, so he could drive me to the airport. I didn't get lost that time. In the airport I had to walk so much to get my ticket, go through security and then go to my gate. While on the plane I had a kid sitting behind me who was about 7 or something like that, he would kick my chair every now and again. But luckily it was only a 2 hour flight so it wasn't all that bad.

All in all it was a lot of fun being at the meeting, made lots of videos, took lots of pictures, some can even be made into forum avatars and even with a small group it was better than I expected it to be. Sadly I didn't get to duct tape anyone to a tree but we were considering duct taping mimus to a pole when she was super happy. If there is going to be a meeting next year, don't fly to the schiphol airport, you will get lost and it is super big and confusing.
