That's what it was originally supposed to be, lol.

I never understood why HS has used level 11 for new recruits.. even with forum account.

11- old 4
12 - old 5

So you're saying we should use level 11 for unregistered members, and 12 for registered members?

Yeah, that's how it was supposed to be.

Isn't that what it is on other servers, Timmy? 11 for visiting and unregistered members, and 12 for registered members. Though I don't see anything bad in our way either.

We'll stay with our system, because more promotions = more happy faces.

And I don't prefer to use level 11 for unregistered members.
It'll take them longer to register, than giving them a level if they registered.

As mentioned in previous posts, I agree with changing the levelsystem a bit.
I would like to add important commands like !putteam/!mute/!unmute/!finger to lower level admins.

I'm thinking about to start giving these commands at level 15 and higher.

So this is how the Low Level system would now look like. Suggestions? And remember, times are only directional. This looks like something MST's would maybe accept.

(New member) Level 11: -
(1 week active) Level 12: !levinfo
(3 weeks active) Level 13: !finger !spec999 !userlist
(5 weeks active) Level 14: !pip !pop !putteam
(7 weeks active) Level 15: !slap !unmute
(9 weeks active) Level 16: !shake !mute
(12 weeks active) Level 17: !splat

The easiest way to do this, would be for You all to say what would you change in the list above, and we change it until most of us is happy with it, and then show it to MST's and hope for the best.

In my opinion, levels from 11 to 14 are pretty good now. Nothing to change there.
Look, the guy is new, you don't know him and you can't be sure for everything what he'll be doing. Optimally solved.
Level 15 is more experienced and familiar. You can give him "better commands".

If you want to talk about giving promotions... Hmm, it's hard to checking does a guy is active one/three/five weeks or not. We don't have only a handful of people. Let's just stay with our old system (which has been - unfortunately - untended lately). You know, when you see somebody who is really active, who is online very often and deserves for being promoted to higher level - do it. According to your mind and with common sense ;-)

btw.

Well said. I'm curious where did you hear that Biggrin

I agree with everything above. I think we should give lower lvls some non-abusable but useful commands. About the promotings I think we should promote by the behaviour and activity. Like an active and helping member could skip a few lvls if the high admins think so and a less active questionable member should get through the low levels to see if he/she is worthy of being a TWC member. Basically Im pointing out that members should earn promotions, not wait for it

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle. Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting.”
