New levels for the servers (archived by Teleport)

the only thing is, anyone who has linux (like me, puppy linux) version of et, wont be able to use xfire ingame. you can still use xfire if you put it on wine, but there's not much point exiting et to solve a problem on et. xfire doesnt support linux.

Hi there, with the changes to the Supremes lvl, could someone please fix the Server Owner Roster, which is visible from every forum (except the homepage). The dividing between MST and supreme (999, 900) was to clearify the difference between the MSTs and supremes so that should be put in there too and it's quite outdated anyways, it still has 7 old supremes. Last update was 8/11/12

I disagree with that. As i understood you will be set the time you were here. So like if you have been here like half an year then you get those commands. Its kinda messy to search someone if no one is in game. Cause we all live in different timezones.

It is only my opinion even tho when it was made i agreed with it, but i put some thought in it and didn't really like it.

You climb up the normal member ladder by the time you are here, and ofc the way you behave.
When the people who are responsible/in charge to give promotions see that youre trustworthy and mature enough to use these commands in the right way, they can give you a lvl with those cmds.

You dont get the cmds just by the time you are here, that should be clear to everyone.

Also, ofc, if someone behaves really good and shows that he is capable of having the responsiblity that comes with these cmds, he might be promoted to a higher lvl without going through all the member stages. but that should stay an exception.

True, we do live in different time zones. But i dont think there will be a search for high admins anymore. With the AoC team we have more than 30 available high admins to contact if needed. Im sure there is also one for every time zone :P Though, if we see there is need for someone out of a certain time zone who is e.g. online the time most of the other AoC members are asleep, we might search for a trustworthy person out of this certain timezone to be new AoC member.

There would be 5 lvls for guests 6 for Admins and then Rctr, CLdr, Ldr, Gen, Donator, Supreme, but somes prefere more lvls...

Even British people? cause our timezone changes from GMT + 00 - GMT + 01 -GMT + 00 etc...
