Tekkit: Machines are powerful!

So now you have a simple pipe system from your furnace to your chest.

Besides making pipe systems, what other cool things can you do? A LOT!!

Next up on our list in IndustrialCraft 2 machines, such as the Generator and the Extractor. In order to even make a machine, you will need Refined Iron. You can get Refined Iron by smelting Iron Ingots in a furnace.

Putting 8 Refined Iron in a block like shape in the crafting table GUI will give you a Machine Block. Machine Blocks are is essential for building machines. So are Electronic Circuits. I will not show how to make the recipe here, as it is kind of complicated to explain in words. Open up Not Enough Items (NEI) in your inventory (E) and change to recipe mode. Look up Electronic Circuit, and then find out how to make it

Now that you have some Electronic Circuits, you can make machines! But of course, you need other things too. Let's start off simple.

Generator

To make a generator, you will need:
1 Electronic Circuit
1 Iron Furnace
3 Refined Iron


OR

1 Electronic Circuit
1 Furnace
1 Machine Block

To make an Iron Furnace, you just put Iron in the shape you make a furnace.

Again, you can check the recipe in NEI, since it's a bit complicated to post in words.

What do Generators do?

Generators make EU off furnace fuels, such as Coal.

EU can be used to power Charging Benches, and other machines such as the Extractor and Macerator.


Extractor

To make an Extractor, you will need:
1 Machine Block
1 Electronic Circuit
4 Treetap

You can make a Treetap by shaping wood like a gun in the crafting table.

What do Extractors do?

Extractors can extract things, obviously. An example would be Rubber. Rubber trees are trees that have 3 leaves sticking in the air. If you find a Sticky Resin (will be explained in a future tutorial), you can extract it from an Extractor and get 3 Rubber. Rubber is used for making cables.


Of course, there are many more machines. But these are just the basic machines.

I found this really funny, since you can straightly communicate to each other and stuff.
It makes playing 10 times more fun.
