I feel you there, I also always struggle to find albums that I like entirely Thanks for reminding me on how good their first album is! I even saw them perform this live on a festival like 5 years ago... was a great concert I like all the songs from the first album actually From the second I liked "For Those Below" and "Where are you now" best. From the 3rd "Tompkins Square Park" and "Hot Gates" :P Their lyrics are great too btw! Thanks for sharing!
Oh and I actually like those songs of Dido Heard them several times on the radio many years ago^^

Here one of the indie bands I like

Hi mates and matesses,

It's been another while since I last visited here, but after a very busy period I have some free times on my hands now. I also intend to be around in the servers the upcoming period due to being in between jobs from Friday on. Anyways, I came accross this pearl while listening to some older playlists on Youtube. Not sure if it has been posted before, but posting this song twice doesn't hurt anyone!

Greetings,

bollie

Heya again bollie, cool to see you here on forum too :P
@coffee: Haha, in fact I also tried to play "Californication" on guitar I would really consider it a classic by now :P Cool song btw, rocks hard!

Here one of my new (even if it's an old band) discoveries. The meaning behind the first song is great too! :P

And of course the most dancable tune of them

Eva Cassidy's story is mesmerizing, one of the best singers there ever was to me. She died at age 33, 1996. However, there was a performance in januari 1996 (song up here is at that actual performance) that is fully recorded and its the best one-take album you'll ever hear. Its live. 31 songs that you can listen to on the couch with a red wine in your hand (I just finished doing exacly that ).
