HELP! new video,sound card

I just bought Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GT640 2GB DDR3 (discount 90€, originally 136€ that's around 180$), well it depends on how good your computer is in general. For the sound card, my old one broke, so I bought some USB thing for 11€, that's around 15$ and it's working just fine.

For newer games it is recommended to have at least 740 (MSI N740-2GD5 GeForce GT 740 2048 PCI-e) and you can get it for a bit over 100 euros. However make sure it is suitable for your motherboard!

Nowadays gamers get at least 770 (MSI GeForce GTX 770 Twin Frozr IV Gaming OC 2048 MB PCI-e) so that'd be my recommendation but since you're on a budget 740 is good too!

As for sound, you do not need a real expensive one. I wudn't spent my money on that, I'd rather spend it on the hardware!
