I understand what it does, but nontheless it gives the user an unfair advantage over others, like others are also sayn, it ruins the gameplay.

You are a stubborn one. It's not unfair if everyone has the chance and know how to do it.

When you play fueldump and there are 6 snipers in the opposite team, whetever they have a script or not doesn't influence that much.

It's hell anyway.

A workaround would be to put a limitation to 2-3 covertops with garand / k43 per team.

I see these discussions every two weeks.
If you do use this in your cfg, and you only change mpitch, fps and sensitivity it's everything except cheating, as everyone can apply this to his/her gameplay.

There must be someone from higher up to confirm this or doom/forbid this. It's always like 'I share my point of view' and that's it -> too much senseless pages after-all, and I mean with this that most replies are in the end a 'yes or no' and there is alot repeated. Bring discussions like this to a conclusion and stabilize the clan.

Ok, so I have just used this sniper script on server and I would like to change zoom of sniper scope. Someone told me that scrolling mouse changes zoom but some time ago I changed scrolling for other binds so it doesnt work for me. What are the commands for changing zoom in scope mode?

I used this kinda script on nd. Was quite fun but got bored to using it after 2 maps. And no in my opinion this aint cheating since you use games own settings.

It's not the same as an aimbot as you are using only legit ET commands : you are only increasing your sensitivity, changing your max fps and m_pitch.

I thought the bind would have been obvious and you'd figure out that by yourself.

Well techincally you can also program cvars into your ET , to get like an aimbot or smth. For example uld_aimbot 1 uld_aimfov 0.39 etc. And u don't need any injections or anything like that.

Btw the definition of cheating is modifying game files , so if you edit lines into your cfg , it is not cheating.

Ahh this discussion again. That's just a config that changes sensitivity and pitch? Nothing about what Nirv put in his post is or should be forbidden, it's just using in-game commands that are not locked or restricted in any way... No exploiting of any kind needed.
Same goes with this actual no recoil script:

The usage of the No Recoil Script:
After pressing the “R” key first time, the recoil of the sniper weapon (Axis: K43; Allies: M1 Garand) is reduced, after pressing it the 2nd time it will reduce a little bit less, after pressing it the 3rd time it will go off. The “off” mode is also appears in colors in the screen “Sniper Mode Off””.
The “R” key can be changed on almost any other key.
