Can´t join TWC Servers :C

Hei people, sorry that I could not report more. I am very grateful to you for the many advice. But unfortunately did not work.
I am still very young and I have not yet a real idea how I can fix the fault in Wolfenstein. Since my father has set this up and until 2 months ago it was still.

At any rate again thanks for the help but unfortunately I do not know further.





I have already tried to find on the Internet what but so far I have still nothing to achieve.

As I've just found, I'm no longer synonymous to the Beginners server, I'm missing the new "Soundpack" and it does not invite me somehow. The server shows a download time of over 1h and nothing happens. Real shit because I have always been very attached to your clan and your servers really liked

Pm Mimus or Ligustah and give them your IP. They are able to check if you have been banned by our system. I got the same error when I tried to play with another IP and found out I was put into a banlist, because I had some kind of virus on my phone that I was using as the source of internet connection.

If it's still not working well, you can download the pack manually.
Look at the path your ET is trying to download from, then just enter that to your browser. For example: replace this with whatever pack/map your ET is trying to download, and move it to your jaymod/etmain folder. If it's a soundpack -> jaymod folder, if it's a map -> etmain folder.

For example, just click this link and your browser will download the beginners soundpack:

Guys, it's not about that he's not able to download files. The problem is he can't get past the Awaiting Connection phase. As I said in my earlier post you might be banned by TWCs automatic system that banned me before aswell. This ban makes you not get past the Awaiting Connection phase.

Yeah I understood this but as nobody can really help him more until MSTs check that this is not the case I thought I'd help with his second problem which was to download the pack.

If he is banned for some reason, and TWC has some IP ban system that restricts his access for the entire machine, then that would explain why he can't download the pack either. The "firewall" or whatever thing you have on is restricting his access to the webserver so he can't download the pack that way either.

It was supposed to replace the previous redirect server, but then I never really go around to testing it thoroughly.

As for the actual issue, I can look into it later tonight.

We do run some automated system to ban IP addresses that send a lot of requests to our servers, because these requests are frequently used to reflect/amplify DDoS attacks ( very similar to what is described here: https://www.incapsula.com/ddos/attack-gl...ation.html ). Under normal circumstances, no human should ever be able to reach the limits that we configured, but it did happen to a few people (single digit number) over the past few years. Some were running tools like HLSW with very aggressive refresh rates, for example.

As you can see it allows up to 50 packets per second on average (most people will send less that 30 per minute) and even allows up to 1000 packets in quick succession (burst) before banning an IP address.
