I changed the roster back to neutral. I don't mind if the discussion is picked up here or elsewhere but please refrain from stirring up what can be left untouched

Either way, it is true that the demoteam will need some reforming now. I don't know what the old roster looked like or who is willing to pick up the responsibilities for it.

Vogel was also in it but was left out. Sky left now. A bunch of people in this list have said in other threads they dont consider theirself a part of it anymore, so you will have to take a look at the whole team again anyway.

I can offer my knowledge for this team even though I'm not in TWC, played etpro for quite a long time, banned a million guys from NBS & know a thing or two about cheaters .
From my point of view, demoteam shouldn't be this big, imo it should contain leader who makes the decisions official, co-leader who makes all ban suggestions to leader which are made by 3 demoteam members.

If I was leading this place anyways, I would bring back good old AAT & AATL ranks with few changes, it worked much better back in the days.
Same sort of system than the demoteam, one AATL who makes bans official and every server would have one AAT with a small team which he/she can gather up himself/herself.

Bringing back AAT would be really great idea and MSTs should think about it

The whole point of the demoteam was to have a strong connection with server supremes and making their role easier. I "worked" my ass off back in the day to keep it functioning properly after I revamped the roster. What does this mean? Showing your face as a demoteam leader (and supreme back then) on every server actively, and attempting to be impartial at all times. By doing so, a lot of drama can be avoided, but people won't necessarily like you the most. But hey, at least people know who to contact. If this connection is non-existent, then the demoteam may as well be thrown in the thrash, regardless of how well they do their job, as their verdict isn't listened to.

Having AAT would possibly work if the role is expanded to some kind of "peacekeeper" that transcends the servers. It certainly worked very well for GDC (e.g. when Leight0n was AATL), as I'm sure Enigma can corroborate. Do note, however, that there's no point for having this role if it doesn't have a strong connection with supremes and the MSTs.

Just like Kornie, I would be willing to help out if needed.

I can confirm the AAT (Anti Abuse Team) GDC had worked pretty well, but it was a pretty weird system if you don't know it. Since it's a long time ago my memory on it is not too perfect, but generally it is what would become HAC (High Admin Council, the one I ended up leading after I had to step down from General Owner) eventually and worked the same way.

HAC/AAT of GDC was a level under the owners of the servers, but it did not have to answer to them. GDC had owners (a kind of server supremes) that paid for the rank like the donator rank here, literally buying theirself more permissions. HAC was the level under them, but it only had to listen to the General Owners/Founders of GDC. Every server had one HAC Member, and one of them was chosen as a HAC Leader in case of a tie in votes regarding a matter. They were the final decision on complaints (both regarding cheating and member complaints) and could only be overruled by the General Owners/Founders (Basically MST's). It worked pretty well since they did not have to listen to the Owners theirself, but they did have a lower level in-game. In case of a complaint about an Owner (Supreme) they would still be able to step up but ask the General Owners/Founders of their opinion before making a final decision on the matter.
