Hey so I installed Legacy, I can connect to some servers but whenever I try to connect to jaymod ones my game just turns off, no error message or anything anyone know why?

because it's ETLegacy.
I have the same problem, I just reconnect and then it works most of the time. I have no real solution to the problem though.

The game shuts itself down so I have to reload the game up to try it again, but it does the same thing all the time

yeah it shuts down completely but restarting usually works for me. Maybe someone else knows more

ET: Legacy is heavily updated and has several new features for clients. For example proper screen resolutions and a native minimizer. Besides that the client also runs a lot smoother due to tons of optimizations and bug fixes.

However , most mods are closed source and not active anymore, ET: Legacy can't maintain compatibility.

I suggest sticking to classic ET.

OFC it is your decision , i just said that i would stick to regular ET.

Yeah I like it for the minimizing options although jaymod is open source and I don't have that much problems connecting to panzerwar, which is jaymod, except for the occasional crash as I mentioned in the previous posts.
But I also have a tendency to just go for regular 2.6b as that still works fine too.

been using legacy for so long. only thing what i get when downloading new mod (vm_create on game failed) thats easily solved by downloading the mod from internet and adding folder to that mod in example trickjump,jaymod etc and paste those files there. sometimes legacy freezes on map change in jaymod but its no prob for me.

Enemy Territory: Legacy is an open source project based on the code of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory which was released in 2010 under the terms of GPLv3 license. The main goal of this project is to fix bugs, remove old dependencies and make it playable on all major operating systems while still remaining compatible with the ET 2.60b version and as many of its mods as possible. We do appreciate any contribution to the project such as patches, suggestions or comments.
