Building PC
#1
Hey everybody!

The holidays are coming and with them my birthday! So I guess it is a good time to build a new PC.
The reasone why I want a new PC is becouse it will be my birthday present,
I need heavier PC for NAM and I saw, that Clysma's thread about PC has got many answers.

I am looking for all stuff except:
- mouse
- graphic card

I have to pay between 1500-2000 zl. So it is about 375-500 euros.

If I forget about any important info, please write about it!
Thank you!

I suggest you to buy SSD (128GB) and a backup one (500GB or more if needed). Than you put operating system on SSD and some things that you want to work fast. The other big files you simply install on backup since SSD is only 128 GB.

My PC (5y old) starts up in 30 sec (from 5 min) after adding a SSD.

I'm lovin it xD

Btw if you don't have money for SSD atm, add it later when you want to re-boost the pc.

SSD is pretty expensive. a cheap one here is around €60,-
I would invest that $$ into a nice CPU.
Btw do you have a keyboard and a monitor?

I always trust a dutch "nerd" site; Tweakers.net . I aint a big nerd so I need to trust on valuable info of those who know what they're talking about. This website states every two months or so a new list of what kind of PC they would ensemble. And they have different price ranges and systems. I picked out the "Basic game system" they ensembled: http://tweakers.net/reviews/3930/3/deskt...steem.html

Processor: AMD Athlon X4 860K Boxed € 71,20
Mainboard: MSI A78M-E45 € 53,90
memory: Crucial Ballistix BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU € 51,-
Graphic card: Sapphire Dual-X R7 265 2GB GDDR5 € 155,86
Harddisk: Seagate ST1000DX001, 1TB € 72,95
Tower: Cooler Master N300 (KKN1, closed) € 30,95 € 31,95
Power supply unit: Antec VP350P € 34,-
Totaalprice: € 470,86

Keep in mind; these prices are prices in march in the netherlands! so they could differ in your country.

You still might need other stuff like keyboard, monitor, speaker/headphone, SSD (because it is expensive but GREAT in usage) etc,etc

Remember, you need good graphic card, so don't waste everything on CPU

In your case I'd rather go for AMD and get better GPU.

If you are still wondering, why I haven't bought it yet, it's because I just didn't for some reason. So I have currently maybe 10 years old computer, it runs ET and League of Legends fine. I'll sure check and bump that thread again when it's more current. (If I'm ever to buy new one)
