Yea, let's add adrenaline, more maps, delete all weapons and classes except MP40 medic, change all rules, ipban all whining guests, kick out not nice admins and go back to place 300 where Now Download was 1 year ago! Or let's just delete ND because its popularity brings more problems than happiness as I see! Every day since a week there is a new topic with changes or complaint or any other negatives about server, but 0 positives althought the server is almost in the top 30 of ET. No further comments.....

well same thing you will get confusion going on which we don't want and as we have this conversation over and over about this rule, i still dont know why people always restart this conversation about rules whetever they dont even have some good arguements.

Definetly not agreed. What are members supposed to do when they ask questions in other language or want to speak in other language.

It could also make joining the clan less attractive because they would have to speak english then.

Also it would make the rules even more confusing.

I say keep only english in main or change it completely.

Ofc if some guest can't speak english at all and is asking some question I think it should be allowed to answer or explain something.

This discussion came up every now and then in the past already, and the compromise (allow any language until asked to speak English) never worked out and caused trouble in the end, because some members or guests either wouldn't understand, or wouldn't follow that one.

I do however see that making guests speak English is not always possible or desirable, especially when all people do is spamming "english in main" as soon as a guests talks another language. I don't think all people understand or appreciate these 'orders'.

So we might indeed need to adjust this rule, maybe in a way that Refresh proposed. Don't get me wrong though, I have always been in favor of this rule.
Having one main language that is used by all members certainly strengthens the community feeling, in my opinion.

Hey guys/girls.
Clysma asked me why we can't speak our own language in the server(s), beceause it was easier for some guests and members.

So we came up to the idea to change it, some members like and some not.
We want the same as in ETJump, you are allowed to speak your own languages but if someone ask you to speak English you'll need to speak English.

I asked you several times to give me reasons why there is such a rule. You gave me nada zero non reason, you just told me nothing. You just said: "It is like that and i wont discuss anymore"

That is not like Supreme Owner's behaviour. If you had give me my reasons, I wouldnt even go this far.

I do not completely agree with the last post but Ligustah pointed on a really important thing.

Mostly we communicate by chat, typing. It might be tiring and boring after a time (in my opinion that's why internet slang was born) so people (we too) started to use shorter forms or abbreviations (like: wj, imo, english in main, ofc, wh ...). It's good but we forget that not everyone can understand or google them.

In my opinion we should keep this as it is now. But admins must have patience to write: "Please write in English to the main/team chat." or "Please do not walljump." (and not: "dont wj" or "no wj").

I always write in sniper like this: "Please do not cross on this map." and not "dont cross".

To every admin: Give a chance to the guests to understand it and be patient.

Sorry I saw this so late. I would have put an end to it before it started -_-

We are a universal clan and English is the most commonly tought and used language in the world. There are many members who only speak English while many other members speak several. So it was determined as in many universal clans that English be the main language used.

This rule is not open for change. We can discuss some modifications, but the rule as it stands says that English is to be used when asked and then any language can be used in PM after that seems sbout as liberal as need be.

The rule in tj never should have never happened in fact now that members are starting to join in there, the rule should now go back to normal TWC server rules. As it was even before members were allowed to join, the any language rule caused many disputes between our members and guests. To have that happen in all our servers would be a mistake.

What's next? The change clan tags and name discussion again next?

Sorry but if you can't come up with a better argument than all the ones in the past regarding this matter, this topic wil be closed.
