What concerts/festivals have you been to?
#1
Mostly just out of interest. Venues are starting to open up again (at least here in UK) so I've got another for next year booked so thought I'd ask about you guys!

I've only been to 6-7 of them, but mostly enjoyed all of them, such good fun.

I've been to:
  • Fall Out Boy, the first I went to I think for my 15th birthday. I can't remember who supported them, some guy called Max and another band with parasite in the name or something, it's been a while. Got there like 4 hours early and ended up right at the front which was cool. Not worth being that early for though lol
  • Panic At The Disco, instead for my 16th birthday (dates just happened to line up both times). There was one band called Arizona, but can't remember the other
  • Architects. A few years ago, when Holy Hell was released - Supported by Beartooth (Who I was excited to see too) and another band that I've forgotten now. Edit; Just remembered it was Polaris who I was not a fan of back then but do enjoy now
  • Killswitch Engage, back in 2019 I think. I think we missed the first band because we were short on time, but then it was a band called Tenside? I remember we were planning on leaving early for this one (it was in London, traffic etc) but just as we started walking out we heard the opening notes of My Curse, and it was a memorable moment
  • Funeral For A Friend, about a month later. By far my favourite concert, it was in a small venue (an SU to be exact), and was supported by Raiders UK and Pay The Man. FFAF are my favourite band, but they had broken up for several years, and this was a charity concert to raise money after a friend of theirs had passed away, was a really nice concert
  • Beartooth, at the beginning of 2020. Another really nice concert, supported by Amity Affliction (another supporting band I was excited to see) and Higher Power. A small-ish venue but a great atmosphere
  • Five Finger Death Punch, about a month later, and must've been one of the last concerts before lockdown IIRC. I can't remember who was supporting. I at one point had some dude throw a pint backwards and I remember it hitting me square on the head and that was the most memorable part of it.
  • And my next concert will be Funeral For A Friend again, which I think I've booked 3 times now due to covid. I was also due to see My Chemical Romance, but that's been delayed twice and other circumstances have meant that unfortunately I will not be going to see them, though I don't mind too much

So yeah, interested in what you guys have to say! another random post but yeah. I've not been to any festivals yet, so if any of you have I'd be interested to know what they're like! also any bands in particular you're hoping to see some time soon?
Stay Happy =)

I have been in dozens of concerts/festival ( not much lately for obvius reasons ).

The ones i had more fun are for sure:
  • Iron Maiden
    Black Sabbath
    Slipknot
    System of a down
    Korn
    Korpiklaani
    Avenged Sevenfold
    Gojira
    Sonyc Syndicate
    Rammstein
    Nightwish
    Disturbed
    Dragonforce

Speaking of festivals, if i have the possibility, i had planned like every year to go to the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival in Helsinky in late june.

Then i have a couple of dates saved, Archenemy + Behemoth in september in Glasgow and Finntroll in novemeber in Milan.

Hopefully next years will be easier move and have some real fun!
