Beginners ADVANCED PLAYERS

I know i haven't been here long and I'm not even very good at this ( to old and not fast enough) that goes with the territory. The TWC BEGINNERS server doesn't seem to be for beginners. Hexonega and a few others some none clan members are very good and capable players, like most of the good players on this server they play medic all the time, some heal some don't. I myself go spec when these "good" players come on, like a few others i find no pleasure in lying on my back most of the map, Can these "GOOD" players not play on a more advanced server leaving us not so good players ( and i only speak for myself) that joined a (BEGINNERS SERVER) Because i class myself as being maybe not a beginner but in a beginners class, i prefer to play the game in a more vertical position and have roughly the same kill/ death ratio as the rest and not 60 + / 5 as some of these better player achieve.

Then you should turn the bots down because i made the suggestion earlier...

And yes, you could be right that it is not a beginners server as it should be. I admit that i and others are a lot better than others. But i already said something about it, namely that i "worsen" myself by being an engineer because that's not my thing.

And for my part, i also like to get stronger when a stronger opponent is facing me.

I give Spitfire quite right, there are more and more who are pretty good and all the fun goes off when you do not have a chance and lie down, most of the time, what pisses me off a bit is that they are laid away and 2 to 3 shots and then I'm dead, I do not know and it's because they're good, but I doubt they's so good and quick to aim, but what can you do about them visiting BG ?? nothing I think, for how to deter them from coming and visiting the server

Personally I don't play that much on bg but I see 2 solutions here First what Sadness said is to turn down not difficulty sincethis is not resolving the playtime quality against more skilled players here's 2nd which is training sessions for less skilled players. This could include cfgs hiding spots weapons etc. Hope you can resolve your balance problems soon.

Yep, high skilled players can be a trouble on a beginner server, cause real beginners do not expect to fight against high level opponents.
But I'm not sure we can do a lot of things to resolve the situation, good players will always have an advantage, whatever we decide to do.

The only viable solution for me is to talk with these players, try to explain them the situation and ask them to play more fair.
But it all depends on their good wills.

Unfortunately, that's our reward for an active and attractive server

Will the equivalent of an "ET PRO" server not work, instead of the Beginners server being "easy meat" so to speak, to allow advanced players to pit there skills against ppl of equal ability?
Just a suggestion.

P.S Use the beginners server maybe one day a week/month as a training day.

I answer to this, because I get directly adressed at SpitFires post.

So I play on Beginners for almost 3 years now and skill/no skill was never an issue.
Back in time we had far more skilled members than me and it was some kind of "balanced", if we played against each other and had some less skilled players in the team.

Now I'm maybe one of the better players if you look at the current members, but there are more skilled players than me, for example jorma/qnt.
What you want to do? Kick us? You can't set a rule for that and you can't ban skill.
A rule against better players would also exclude probably 75% of our memberbase from other servers, who are far better than me.
If we do, Beginners is done to me.

Admins and High Admins can however watch that the games are balanced and can ask members and guests if they change teams.

HeXomega. Sorry No offence meant by my post. As stated in my original post "Hexonega and a few others, some none clan members are very good and capable players" My intention was to see if there was a way round this problem. You, Jabby, Dillerfrantz also other none clan members are very good players and nobody is suggesting being kicked banned or anything like that, but would as i think you where suggesting, when you join look at the weaker team and join that team, Not leave it up to the admins, common sense should dictate that. same goes for the rest of you "Good" players and balance the sides so there are an even amount of "good players" on either side.

I always play something other than medic when the game is less than 3v3 (not inclueding bots) And i dont find Medic more superior to other classes. If i would play engineer the obj (wich most find most interesting on Beginners server) would be done in half of the time. Not to sound egoistic bastard or anything but when i play medics its for stalling objective time in unfair conditions.


And i dont find any server with ADHD settings and 12v12 teams intereting. So kick me out and be done with it if its problem that im not beginner.

for example engineers can take more body shots than medics? dont they have armor in this mod or do i remember wrong?

I'll leave it after this post, but I find it extraordinary that ppl are talking about being kicked out or banned. If i remember rightly the topic at the beginning of these posts was "" Suggestions & Questions "" NOT COMPLAINTS. I think like everyone else on here I am entitled to put my thoughts on here and suggest things.............Or am I wrong. If so Can the admins advise please.
