sup guys, i reinstall et on new laptop, but it isnt possible to join any ET servers or ET Main menu...

Resolution problem, try changing /r_mode X (ie : r_mode 6) , /vid_restart and /reconnect

change the target to:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Mapping - Enemy Territory\ET.exe” +r_mode -1 +r_customheight 1024 +r_customwidth 768 +vid_restart

Also, run ET.exe on winxp sp3 compatibility mode and as admin.

or maybe try downloading GLDirect and extracting the files into the main files

Hi,

I made you an autoexec.cfg that you have to place in the etmain folder in order to fix your issue. Because this is most likely an issue that the game tries to run under a resolution not supported by your device.
Its set for 1080p resolution so 1920x1080. If this is different let me know and i will edit the file for you. Or if you know how open the file and change the resolution yourself.
Its pretty straight forward.

Its clearly a resolution problem as Nirv told you.

Just delete your et config.cfg and your autoexec.cfg, then launch back ET.

Quit ET and install the autoexec that chuck has made before, and the problem will be solved !

it isnt work, i delete my etconfig on ET i copy your cfg and file it with my resolution (768x1366) but it isnt work, same picture with red line as before...

try to update the driver of your video card.



if this wont help try to find your autoexec.cfg. open it and search after "seta r_mode [number]" and change the [number] to 4. save the cfg and start et.
