I assume that such case gives the right to bash someone instead of restricting privileges? Is that the example you want to set to your fellow admins and server guests?

You know Tankey as much as it is nice to get "new" visitors on our servers we are not so desperate to settle for just anything. After some time it really takes the fun factor out when you realize they're not being funny but that's how they normally are. I understand where you're coming from though. Let me put it another way: We appreciate newcomers but we won't set our standards lower.

Hi Snacky,

I wasn't there so it's hard for me to judge him. I just visit this forum from time to time and then such replies surprise me as an outsider. I didn't really expect it from a mature clan as TWC, though some lower themself to his niveau.

I assume you have right's to mute or ban these guests, wouldn't that be more appropriate then publicably humiliate him? He didn't insult any of you here, yet some feel the need to do that to him. It is a shame.

The whole world got so sensitive these days And lastly, public humiliation might not be nice but it does the trick whereas pampering someone to the sky serves no use to anyone.

Of course your opinion is welcome on the subject, I like when a discussion is going somewhere. Indeed a ban is in order for him.

I wasn't pointing at you, sorry if I made it look like that. Neither am I trying to protect him but from my view no one should be humilitated. For all you know he really is mentally unstable, hence why I felt the replies were unjustified and simply wrong (also looking at his other thread)

I do however agree that the world got too sensitive nowadays :-). I'm glad I'm able to hold a decent conversation with you and also that you're able to take an outsiders view into consideration. Have a good day!

@Mystik: I was merely pointing at the fact that adminis do have other useful privileges than offending one publicably, not at this specific case but in general. Speaking about a clan as TWC.
