the biggest problem here hani is that people like me like bg a lot more than hs so if you merge them, i will not be able to play bg without being forced into hs. i personally dont like the idea of merging, i cannot go back to play the original bg after my exams if you do merge them, you will lose a massive amount of players.

U dont need 2 databases or folders
everything can be loaded from one main u only need 2 cfg
1. Objectivecycle.cfg (we already have in bg)
2. HS.cfg
in these 2 cfg u can adjust the settings of the server
so u don't need 2 databases copying admin, bans etc etc

Why u want 2 nitmod folders? -_-
Indeed then u have 2 databases.
But if u only work with a cfg then u only have 1.database

That is if you use exactly the same skins/soundpacks/menus/mapscripts. We assumed there would be some sort of distinction made between the two servers when merged. I just figured changing folders would be more convenient than swapping pk3 files. Having two separate folders/databases would be the easiest setup for now.

Looking at the current poll status, I assume it doesn't really matter anyway.

What pk3 ? U only need a cfg to load obj settings and maps
and a cfg to load headshot mode and maps

And talking about pk3 files.
please never upload a event or twc menu or something to the sever without letting me know or convert it first to nitmod.

The last 2 events the settings were fcked up when they were uploaded

As nd player I like to play other active servers. Like pw. Sometimes I connect to bg or hs but its all bots. I would like to play obj or frag on a active server besides nd. Not sayin that those should merge without doubt . But I would say it would be worth the try. If it would even be slightly more active it would attract players from nd like myself.

Well I'm always going to be against it, as I said to Cross this is just like when people say 2 negatives make a positive, it doesn't, so why would it become active just because 2 servers merge? both servers barely have any members play on it enough it's our own faults the servers aren't active. Even if this merge happened it would only be fine for the first few weeks then it will be inactive.

I agree that a merge wouldn't improve server activity,the main issue is players .if a quarter of the peoples who voted in this poll would come together to one of the server once a day in a certain hour it would have been active .

trust me it aint easy as you say it, we tried this using countless methods and events, none of them really worked

Well, a member is a member, Kenny. But still, votes of HS OR/AND BG members should come first in this, before the rest of the members.
