No Download New maps needed! (archived by NightFall)

Like mentioned by other admins, this topic has been returning several times (most by new regulars or members).
NoDownload is really running good and you can't find maps that everyone likes, there will always be some people who don't like it.

You should look at this like a machine, who update/change a machine when it is running just fine.
Because change brings with it child deseases in everything and will take some time before people and the machine adapts.
This is only possible when the server is doing bad and can only get better. But now we're doing good so why gamble and maybe make it bad?

Adding maps would mean more to download indeed and removing maps will make people mad for removing maps they like so it stays like it is.

The argument with 'No Download' is kinda invalid because you have to download something anyway, if you join the server for the first time. So 10 secs - 1 min more will certainly not kill you^^ Besides, most people already have downloaded these maps once in their ET career, so they wouldn't have to do it again.
And one more pro: When you / we changed the maps for the first time and added Venice and Pirates it didn't really turn out that bad either, did it? Rather on the contrary I dare say. I personally would like to see only Venice re-added because it is actually one of the few maps that can handle 35-40 players more or less without problems. So maybe just replace one of the current maps with Venice, to have at least some kind of alternation^^

I just stated why the reason he gave is invalid, so it seems kinda naive to me to simply agree with what he said just because he is supreme. It's not like I'm a total newbie to ND either.

I don't mean to start a riot here or something, I just wanna make you think a bit more about this, instead of just rushing to your good old reasons for rejecting any kind of change.

well the point of haveing new maps is lighted up so every1 can think about it now.
first off the supreme,s then high admins then members then guests, so if the supremes who actually have to add the map dont want it i gues its kinda end off story:P
but who knows in the future atleast the point is lighted now.

Not very true because storch was the supreme too and this just looks like you're asslicking. Not trying to offend you or nothing of course...

Anyways:
IMO I would like to see some maps added such as venice, braundorf and supply depot. that sounds good. Was gonna suggest streets of italy but that maps only feels right on vietnam

Either way I believe a slightly larger variety of maps wont hurt. I get bored of goldrush, railgun and the original blabla maps so if he have more, we could get more guests because they get to play on more maps so less boredom to them.

BTW, tomahawk mainly disagreed with ADDING new maps i think (that's what the first post said)
BUT nothing was said about swapping few maps with newer ones, we had a small talk about that not so long ago in HA section and we came to the conclusion this should be a public poll and not only something HA discuss about

Since the addition of, for example, two maps problem, I suggest you change though Railgun for something better because it almost always gets a vote at the next . It would be good to add a vote on each map.

P.S. we live in the 21st century so download two maps more is probably not a problem XD

If the decision on the maps will not be added it is unquestionable that the best solution would be closing the theard.
