I got some more info about the meeting so you get the details all the time asap :P

As said before the meeting is going to happen end of july. To be more precise, the later july aka. Roughly about 15.07 - 28.07 or something like that. Since we do not have to book a spot and pay for every day, we can be a bit more spontaneous. That means we can make the meeting go for a few days or a week or even about two weeks, so everyone who wants to come can stay long and in case e.g. Some people can only come the first 2 days and others just a few days later, both sides can experience the meeting with people who stay longer. No idea ofc who can stay the full meeting, but lig and i do for sure

Moreover, i found out about some fun casino-builidng close to the meeting who got pool tables i am demanding a revenge of last years game aswell as i want to see the skills of our new participants.

About travels: i mentioned before the meeting spot is close to bremen and hannover, one of the bigger towns in germany. There is an international airport aswell as a big train station. In case some people come by train/plane we can pick them up in bremen or hannover and drive to the meeting together. That way you guys dont have to pay extra for the regional travel with train/bus etc. to that small village where our house is

idk, I'm in Italy till 15 of july. and in go to France the 31 of july.
Between that I'm kinda free so might be I pass by. I got my parents car anyway

Updateeeey

I did make a post about the meeting on both ETC and EA clan sites. Maybe there will aswell be some people who want to come.

I cant believe in only 2 months from today we will already be right in the meeting w00tie.
So, who else would be interested in coming? I know from a few guys from slovenia who sent me PMs and stuff about how to get to Bremen as cheap as possible.

Let me tell you all that there are quite a lot of ways to find cheap travels to the meeting, so in case you are sitting at home thinking "aaaahh i would like to go to the meeting but idk i bet its too expensive/too far away etc." - DONT think that. Post here where you come from (like, the next bigger city or sth? and I will go look up cheap travels for you as much as I can. I can almost always promise you I can find cheaper travels than the money you would have to pay for fuel only if you would go by car :P
Lets talk about who comes, and how he/she comes, and if its possible on which day etc. Id love to see some more, new face on this years meeting
Even if you are not certain IF you can make it (work/own holiday etc.), just tell me. Id like to know who is even interested in coming so i can add that to my plannings in future meetings (yknow, analyzing n stuff :P)

Other than that, I got some more activity-related updates.

I browsed a bit through to my mind, talked to my parents and took a look at our surrounding at the meeting.

Apart from the things i already mentioned (lake, beach, casino/pool, swimming pool etc.) I found some nice BARS, a company that offers SWAMP-TOURS (wtf ), i asked my mom for their DART-SET (yknow where you throw these little arrow-things on a plate?), we can play BADMINTON and VOLLEYBALL and SOCCER and other stuff.
Also, omg i have sooooo many ideas already for food it almost makes me drool.
And, ofc, chill-out-games. Cards, Taboo (where u gotta explain sth without using certain words), and surely we could also make our own version of DRAW-MY-THING.


I hope these news make some more people post here about their interest in the meeting :P After all, its awesome and FREE (apart from food-money, but like, even if you would not come to the meeting you would have to pay for food to eat sth, right? :P)

From "Aalst" belgium to the meeting or if you don't find for "Aalst" you can also do "Bruxelles".

Or maybe there are other belgian people going by car, maybe I can hitch a ride?

like I said I'll be avi somewhere from 15/7 - 22/7 or so, maybe longer.

PS: I know some other fun games maybe I can take some small games with me (boonanza card game, jungle speed also card game, and some others)

I am all in for other games I love to learn/try new ones.

And yeah indeed there are cheaper travels than by car, at least if you drive alone.
From about Bruxelles to Bremen its like...500km. So, that would be about 50 litres of fuel -> like 50-70 euro?

There is a bus-tour company called FlixBus (i use them alot when i visit my parents ), they offer a ride form Bruxelles to Bremen for just 25 euro.

So in case you would drive in your car alone i think FlixBus will be cheaper, though however if you find some other belgians to share a car with (Benzin, Falluske, ETplayer from TJ, DrSmurrie, Kjell MrOwl, Nightfall, only_me, Puitije, Sky, Unique, Velcro, etc.etc.) , i guess it would be better (and more fun) to go by car

EDIT:
I found another bustour from Bruxelles to Osnabrück (another city near the meeting) which is slightly cheaper than going to Bremen: about 19 euro (but they do not drive as often as the tour from Bruxelles to Bremen).

PS: There will be several people i think who will come from different countries and then all end up in either Bremen or another big city (Osnabrück, Hannover etc.), because there are not a lot of ways to get to the actual meeting spot by train etc. directly.

However, there is a thing called "Niedersachsen Ticket" in germany. Its basically a group-ticket for up to 5 people which allows them to drive all through Niedersachsen (a province/ federal state in germany, the same the meeting is in) by all kinds of busses, trains, subway etc.
The ticket does cost like 25 euro or sth for 1 person, but every other person that joins the ticket only pays 4 euros. Means:
1 person - about 25 euro
2 people - about 28 euro
3 people - about 32 euro
and so on, up to 5 people.

So, in case we find some of you who arrive at e.g. Bremen at roughly the same time, you can all meet up and go by this group-ticket.
Its cheap, and saves a lot of time because if there are several people who Lig has to pick up from Bremen it means a lot of driving and wasting money for fuel (like, its about 15 euro for fuel, he always has to drive "empty" to Bremen and then can only pick up like 2-3 people in his car because you all also will have bags to carry with you).
