///deleted the useless posts that have nothing to do with the actual subject
Now on the matter:
Ofc we do have other awards than the often used OA (e.g. Confirmed Active Member and Recognized Problem Solver) who might suit Hani aswell.
However, I do not see a problem with him having this award, and tbh I do not really see why some of you seem to be against it.
Lets first sum up the reasons brought up why he should get an award:
1. supporting HS for a few years
2. giving a lot of technical support to HS and other servers (now that he is supreme and aswell before, even though with less access at that time)
3. Keeping HS alive during the very inactive times
I would like to add aswell that he
4. Never left the clan, nor ever had a long period of absence
5. Is very active, ingame aswell as in the forums concerning not only spamming, but also giving opinion on several upcoming matters + trying to help
Now reasons why he should not get the award:
1. The reasons above are not outstanding enough (it has to be at least sth like bringing a server back to the top)
2. Hani is not long enough supreme + therefore has not kept HS alive for long enough yet
--------------------------------------------------------------------
A few things I would like to adress in order to maybe make some of you have a second thought about the matter:
a) Hani is not long enough supreme and at the same time keeping HS alive to get the award. But he is HS member for a reaaaaaaally long time already and keeping HS alive at that time aswell, right? Question is, why does he have to prove himself as capable of keeping the server alive now that he is supreme in order to get the award if he has already shown that he can keep the server alive as much as possible for a single human being while being HS member? If we leave out the short time he is supreme (because it should not matter if he is supreme or member if the talk is about doing the best to keep the server alive), then we are left with Hani being there for long enough + keeping activity as high as possible.
b) What he did is not outstanding enough. Now, why not? Ofc you can say if someone brings a server back to the top is far more oa-worthy than just keeping a server alive, but I remember people getting oa-awards for doing just that: being supreme and keeping a server alive. Most of the times this server was already doing pretty okay. Why should people who keep a well-going server alive be more oa-worthy than someone who keeps a not-so-good-going server alive? Sometimes its just not possible for a single person/supreme to get a server back on full activity. That still does not mean these people to not do a good job on keeping what they have (just like a supreme of an active server does) or do not do everything they can to help the server.
c) Now directly adressing you two, Chris and Puitje (since you were the ones having doubts about Hani having this award):
Chris

How comes you agreed on Veli having an OA Award when all that was mentioned as a reason was being a long-term member (even with a clan-break), being a very active and responsible member of his home server, and is still greatly contributing to its activity and being a regulator on forum + helping people in need out as much as possible. I do not see how this is any different from Hani, so I would love to get an explanation about why Veli did get a yes and Hani doesnt.

Same goes for the 2 times Puitje was suggested for OA. He was a good HS supreme, very active, trying to raise activity on HS (being one of the few active members of HS that time). More or less the same doubts came up that time as they do here now, like why should someone get OA for just "doing his job" aka being supreme and doing the best to keep the server alive etc. - so the reasons you are adressing now. Still you agreed that time on an OA award. So how comes you did not have doubts with Puitjes award back then, but have them with Hanis award (+ why do you now give the same arguments against it which did not matter for you back then?)

When it was a 2nd time suggested for him (2 years later, without any certain reasons) you again agreed.
Puitje:
Talking about the thread where you were suggested for an OA award, Id like to ask why you agreed on having it (ofc you said you dont know why exactly you get it, but I guess you still felt flattered for being suggested and having an oa-award, right?). Moreover, I do not exactly see where Hani is different from you back then as HS supreme. Ofc you have been supreme for a longer time then, but you both were active for a very long time trying to keep the server alive and pushing it to the top (see my above questions when adressing the arguments brought up in general).
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Dont get me wrong people, I am not trying to accuse or ruffle anyone. Id just like to ask some questions in order to get to know the background of your reasons against it and ofc to maybe provide another perspective on things.
