Hello,
I'd like to announce the birthday of Mimustah. This, of course, is a sort of metaphor, but yet it's true.
Mimus and me have been a couple for exactly three years as of today.
To mark the occasion, I would like to publicly confess my love for her (again),
because I really do.
I love you Mimus!
It's been an incredibly amazing time until now, and I know this is just the beginning.
Because some of our younger members might not know, I'd like to write a little about why I decided to make this post, and what exactly it has to do with TWC. Skip that part, if you don't like old stories :P
So it was about December 2008. Some months after I had joined TWC I started playing on the Sniperwar server regularly, because, next to No Download, it was about the hotspot of this clan. Many people I just came to like played there every day and I joined in to the fun.
Apart from playing there was usually a large discussion going on all the time. People were chatting, talking, laughing. People told about things that happened to them during the day and it just felt like a great community.
At some point I came to know a girl, who called herself Mimus. She was insanely curious about the members' faces and made the ambitious plan to gather pictures of all of them, and it was just about then when the daily talk was about hair length and color. Knowing that I was somewhat special regarding that topic, I thought I'd just contribute to that discussion.
So I said 'I have long red hair'. ...... *silence* ......
Most people were like, 'Cool', 'Sounds funny' and MayheM probably thought 'Where the hell are my scissors?!'. Mimus, however, couldn't restrain from extensively showing her astonishment and it was then, when she asked me to send her a picture of me. She literally begged for it and wouldn't stop asking until I eventually sent one to her. Albeit, the picture I sent to her probably couldn't meet her expectations (you can find the picture here).
She immediately complained about the hat (which she still hates as of today, by the way) and insisted on me sending her a better one. Joint, who was on the server at that time, certainly seemed entertained though.
I later sent her a better picture, and it was then, when we started chatting more and more.
Some weeks passed by, and we were still having many chats, mostly outside of the server, when at some day she told me about a dream she had. She wouldn't tell me what it was about, but just that she had fallen in love with a guy. I was really happy for her, as she had become about my best friend by that time. I was actually crazy for another girl, who I knew from rowing, at that time, and I Mimus often asked me to talk about her, and I appreciated the advises she gave me. However, interest in the other girl slowly faded away. We also often talked about how she would imagine her perfect man. With every time we talked about that, it became more clear to me that she was infact describing the person I am. Me.
So I asked her, what sort of feelings she had for me, what I was for her. She told me that I was her friend, the best she's ever had. Back then I wouldn't realize that this was how girls are. She wouldn't directly tell me, but I soon learned to understand the 'signs'.
Sometime later, her PC crashed and we couldn't talk for about a week. That was, when a feeling, that I have never really had before, struck me. I missed her. I realized that I couldn't be without her. So I told her, as inexperienced as I was with these things. I said 'I think I've falled in love with you'. She didn't seem to be happy to hear that. I was paralyzed. It later turned out she was concerned about the word 'think'. She wanted me to be clear about my feelings. And I soon was.
That was the 8th of May 2009. That was when Mimustah was born.
In fact, MayheM was the first person to know. By the time he knew, I hadn't even told my parents or any of my friends. That was, because MayheM knew the two of us. He has always been one of the closest persons for each of us.
So that is how it all started. It started in TWC, and to be honest, there were times where I had lost faith, where I was tired of maintaining TWC.
Mimus is the reason I wouldn't let you guys down. The fact that I owe the love of my life to TWC will always keep me comming back.
I love her, and so should you! :P
