Wars/Scrimming:

If you really don't know anything about playing ET competitively you should first read this tutorial by CSL here.

Competitive ET tips:

1st of all there is a tutorial back from BossHK. There is a competitive ET tutorial which is very good. I recommend you to watch this if you are in TWC scrimteam or you are interested in scrimming.

Part 1 of Competitive ET tutorial - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLhUO0QWwns
Part 2 of Competitive ET tutorial - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ru7bmnhtBuo

I really recommend you to watch the whole tutorial pack. You can check on hes channel other tutorial pack parts.

Okay so this tutorial pack actually is very thorough so seriously, you should watch it.

There's a good way to get some gaming sense/brains. It's - Watching good players playing on ETTV.
ETTV (Enemy Territory TV) is kind of 60b mod that you can connect to server and watch how peoples play in other server. It's good way to watch very good players playing.
There is a page that you can see what matches are up to come and so on:

http://www.gamestv.org

On the right side of the page you see "Upcoming broadcasts". There are all games that are nearly coming. If you click on one game it gives you a page where you can see both team lineups and full names of teams. It also gives you time of match.

If you want to watch some game just watch match info 5-10 minutes before game and there will be a IP. Then you just simply connect with 60b to the server and enjoy the match. I recommend you to spec 1 player. Look how he is acting and learn tricks from him and stuff. But not all the teams on gamestv are very good. If you look at the "upcoming broadcasts" you can see that sometimes some of the match times are darker. The games that are darker have better reputation that means there are good teams. And if you click on the match you also can see how many stars that game has. If you want to watch games then watch the darkest ones.

Something more about ETTV:

How to watch a good match if there aren't any upcoming?
1. Register on http://www.gamestv.org, log in.
2. Look for a good match. There are few ways to do it:
- look in the top 10 matches (http://www.gamestv.org/top/), then click on vs
- look in the top 10 teams, then click on one of the team names. You should get a list of matches. Click on "details >>" next to a match.
3. Click on "Watch this Match now" near the play button.
4. Choose one of the demos. The best demos are the ones which are "Official:".
5. Click "Request". Wait till the server will start.
6. After start there should be "Address". Copy the whole ip, for example "anaconda.gamestv.org:18041".
7. Open ET 2.60b, open console, write /connect and paste the ip with CTRL + V. You should do this in not more than 3 minutes after starting server or the server will disconnect.

Now you just have to practice a lot and you will get better.

That's pretty much all i could say at the moment.
