Hi guys, I've been quite inactive for a couple of months already, and I feel like properly explaining why.
As you may have seen, Storch has left. And I think I have been going through a similar process. As you can read in his topic, I said that I've been having a tough time with figuring out what I want to do, who I want to be, and how I want to achieve this.
All of this is quite personal, but I feel like sharing it, as at one point, most of you will probably go through the same process, so let's elaborate.
These things bother me a lot. It's always on my mind, I'm pondering on a daily basis, and I tend to feel bad or guilty whenever I'm doing something that doesn't benefit me in the long run. I'm not depressed or anything though, I feel just fine. I just can't fully ''relax'' playing games anymore, doesn't matter what game. I do know that I don't want to turn into a workaholic, so I try to balance my life with going out with friends, being in the gym, working, and going to/doing stuff for university. This sort of works for me, but I tend to feel like something is missing.
Be it playing guitar or playing games. When I do so, I end up with a shortage of time, as I have other responsibilities as well. I'm pretty much thorn between two evils, and I feel bad when I pick either one of them. So in turn, I try to balance them. It's an annoying vicious cycle. That's probably why I haven't left this community yet. It has crossed my mind multiple times the past year or so. ''When is it time to move on?''
I haven't figured things out yet. What would you guys have me do? Be honest with me. Step down from the supreme position, as I am only active for 2 months or so at a time? Move into more of an advising role? Remain a supreme? Try to move on with my life?
