Because I have seen many problems in the past. when reinstalling ET It won't automatically generate a new etkey! whne was the last time you installed ET and witch installer did you use.
Anyway. When it all good its all good, When it aint that'll help

But yeah I understand what you mean, I also noticed it several times now that people have such a problem. I just wonder why I never have it.

1st when your new PC arrives, save your etkey in your email(outlook has skydrive easy way to save your files).

to get better fps, you might upgrade to windows 7 which is more stable then vista.

If that doesnt solve, buy a graphic card, when you use that one it mostly increases your fps alot. Make sure to check which gpu slot you have, if you have a agp slot there arent much card anymore for that.
For pci-e you need to search which version of the slot you have. old motherboards usually have pci-e 1.0 or 1.1, that means these new graphic cards that are designed for gaming doesnt work on it(my experience ) cause they have pci-e 3.0 and they arent backwards compatible with pci-e 1.1 or lower. If you have a pci-e 2.0 then it does work.

So for a list when you have pci-e 1.1 or lower, buy a graphic card with pci-e 2.0
when you have a slot with pci-e 2.0 you can buy any pci-e graphic card

Also if you dont have enough memory, that can bottleneck your fps 2. So check what RAM size and type you have to check what you can buy to upgrade.

For example i bought 2nd hand from andre his old mobo with 512MB DDR2 533Mhz RAM( mobo had pci-e 1.0 so that explained my experience with my new GTX 650 which had pci-e 3.0)

I upgraded the memory to 4GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM, which results in a stable PC cause it doesnt use a high amount of virtual RAM( basically the Windows takes memory from your HDD which decrease performance)
