Yes, they have other mods, but we used to have a server with Jaymod and other maps than the original ones, but NoDownload means, you don't have to download maps. Our activity/popularity is mostly because we have the original maps. I like the idea, but just not for NoDownload, what we could suggest is to bring back life to -TWC|Blue (the Jaymod server with the other maps), but I fear for the popularity of the server.

Joris

YES, you said it.
If people really are bored here we should raise the another server, not to go and edit some other. Objective and Blue servers were good.

When we will get a night like this again.

Let's get real here... a lot of members are leaving and activity has dropped... why not test something new? It's just a map, really... Bored
So the members wont leave or the activity does not drop when we add couple of new maps?

I wasn't here when it happened, but I heard that it was closed because we had such a low activity.

I think it should stay as it is. I would be better integrated Chucks Server.

Adding another server would not work, not at all i think. We already have problems filling our servers as is now.

Altough, with all the current members in ND i think we should be able to change ND into an server with more maps. If all ND participate i think we should be able to get more than just people searching for stock maps in the server. This might be a gamble but you never know what youre gonna get our of it

Nah, setting up a new server for tests is completely pointless in the state ET is in right now. If you want to change something, then you have to do this with a server which is already popular and well-visited.
And why can't we at least test it? This test would certainly make more sense than testing the glorious heavy-spawnkill-is-allowed rule some months ago.

I do agree that there might be new players in ET who haven't played these 6 classic maps that often yet, but I'm quite sure the same amount of players has already left ND behind because it became too boring and monotone.

Think about maps like Supply Depot, Venice or Snatch. I think there are a lot more people who like these 3 maps, than people who like the current maps Würzburg Radar or Seawall Battery. And a short download is in my opinion a very cheap price to pay for a much better map.
