My bad, I take full responsibility. I was hurrying a bit since I had already watched demo's for about 3 hours since I didn't have much time to review them before. I'm really sorry I blindly trusted chuck and chris on this matter. I should take more time to review the demo's properly. I felt a bit under pressure though since there was doubt in the demoteam.

I would like to note that we are not going to do this with applications so there is no reason for you guys to PM us. This matter has been discussed for weeks already and the right ones for this job will get reached by us.
Im sorry for the inconvenient situation that was cause by Demo Team inactivity. Just be patient, new members will be selected soon. Meanwhile try to be patient and wait the one day delay there might be, before banning the suspects. You can ban the suspects as soon as two demo team members have approved it.

E: I will watch the demo first thing tomorrow as im back in home.

Nothing to apologise for. You were given a task not of your making and made a decision influenced by personal circumstance. If there is responsibility to be attributed then it is to the reporter(s) for jumping the gun and not you for whose plate it landed on.

For me, personally, I am happy that things have been resolved. I don't and never will cheat and to be called one really gets to me. The fact that you were happy to review and re-evaluate your decision speaks volumes and is to be admired. If nothing else you came through this spotless, and Chris too.

I feel like I'm repeating myself a lot the last days, but maybe it will help.

Things like watching a demo in a hurry or shortly after you woke up are not really good excuses for missjudging a demo. No offense, I know everyone can do mistakes and freetime is a rarity these days, but if you are even in a demo team you should take your time for it and do your job serious (I say it again, especially when it is about wallhack). If you don't have enough time then just do it later or give the task to someone else, rather than doing your job in a hurry. There is much less harm done if an assumed cheater continues playing in the server, than if an innocent player gets banned.

And I say it again: Always try to imagine what the other person might think. Try to imagine how you would feel getting banned for cheating because someone watched the demo in a hurry and thus decided to ban you.

As I said, I don't mean any offence, I'm just trying to help to possibly avoid things like these in future. Also I would offer my help for the demo team if it's needed as I do think I have quite some experience with cheaters. But you said you don't want applications for it, so of course it's up to you guys.

Edit: Repect to $3c0nd$ for taking it so easy, not many people would have reacted the way you did.

Just reviewed the demo again, and he is clean. 100% clean. If you have a wh, why go in a room to test if someone is there? If you have a wh, why lean? If you have a wh, do you need to go in a room with a nade to test?

Maybe demo team should be' changed to people that have time to check demos more than one time, or at least check it 1 time...

When I came here to appeal my ban I was pretty sure who instigated it. And over the course of the thread it became apparent and not merely a suspicion.

After I was cleared, I did log onto ND and see you and what I said was;

I just wanted to clear that up. I don't do abuse/disrespect.
