Indeed. Especially because the problem of members' behavior and immaturity. It's the first 'jaymod'-clan I've seen that has a score requirement to get in.

Getting 7/1 depends on the skill of enemy team. There is no player in TWC servers that can get 7/1 if enemy team has some of the best players in clan. Getting 50/0 is easy if enemy team is full of beginners and they don't work as a team. My point here is that score requirement is not the best way to recruit and recruiters should have brain to check can the recruit play without keeping eye on the score.

I absolutely agree. I'm really worried about 7/4 requirement, as I get 3/20 against TWC pro players :P Tho I haven't been fragging. I try to build up medic, fieldop etc skills first

Your both absolutely right, but there is actually a little bit of both involved while your gaining your xp. Your being watched on how well you behave as others before you have.

As long as a person shows some sort of good behavior, the tryout is eminent. There have been many who didn't quite show they had what we look for here and were not given tryouts, but to be honest many were still given tryouts and passed. It's a judgement thing and each recruiter has his or her way of doing that.

I have always said that anyone can gain skills with practice, but no one can gain good behavior if it's not already inside you. Yet it is easy to fake for awhile.

I wished more of our servers concentrated less on skill and more on fun people to play with, but it just isn't always possible. So we weed out the bad ones after they show us their true nature.

To reach a specific kill/death ratio is indeed a rather useless requirement for joining a clan. Even if we were a clan based on skills, the score should be the last thing that decides upon accepting a member. As it was said before, team-balance, playing for obj or bad luck are all things that affect your score, so it doesn't really say much about your 'skill'.
But we are no clan based on skills anyway, so we shouldn't have this ratio mentioned in our requirements at all.

And what Mayhem said is true too, friendly behaviour can easily be faked for a period of time. That is why the recruiters job is so important, they should be able to tell if someone is mature and friendly 'by heart' or if he/she is just trying to lick at the recruiters ..shoes

Anyway, in Triinu's case it is kinda clear I think. She is already more active here on forum than some of our members and obviously a nice person. So, no matter how your score will be, you're welcome in from my part
