Today ive been in ND for quite some time.
I have to admit that i rarely visit the servers nowadays, and the time i spent there today gave me some profound impressions of...kinda everything.
The things going on in ND always cause serious discussion, for that reason alone that there are a lot of people playing there and being recruited.
Back then when i came into the clan, the people being recruited were well known before they had a tryout - that changed.
Let me tell you a little story:
There was a person, i just call him A, in ND today. He provoked a bit, yelling HEIL HITLER and calling others jealous of his skills. He used spawn kill once, was warned and stopped it. Because of his provoking i decided to talk to him in a friendly manner, trying to stop him from chagrin everyone just to get some attention.
Another guest, and a few of his proponents, let me call the whole group B, was calling me: fail admin, idiot, bad server admin...much more, no need to go into detail. Things were spread from group B like, bad server, thought this is cool game but now i see stupid admins and stuff.
Now, who is the real problem in here? A, with a lack of attention, bugging people? Or group B, insulting while MEANING it, without having respect at all, wanting to instant kick/ban people like A?
In the end, people like A get kicked or banned. Persons like group B stay in the server as guests and get recruited.
So we have people in clan who dont even think a polite talk could be more benefically than instant kicking/banning/splatting/muting.
AND THESE B-people are the ones causing a lot of the problems we have in clan lately, being bad admins with instant use of commands.
I dont say every problem area is caused by this. But it might be a good idea to make sure the one you are going to recruit is a GOOD member.

PS: Mimis lexicon: GOOD MEMBER: someone who does not only have a lot of XP on a server and a good tryout score, but is also able to represent the CLAN: someone with
- a certain level of speech, without the constant use of bad words
- the discipline not to break any rules
- a friendly, polite behaviour to members and guests
aint that much, huh?
