What is TZAC? Why do you need it? Where to get it?

What is TZAC?

Since punkbuster is lagging and it is not used anymore there is a new anticheat tool.

TZAC is a 3rd party anticheat for W:ET. It is currently compatible ONLY with ET 2.60b and ETPro 3.2.6 and is primarily an anticheat for clan matches and public ETPro servers.
If you run W:ET through TZAC it will check if you have cheats enabled or not. To check in server who's having TZAC type /ac_listplayers (works only if you have TZAC on). Some servers have forced plugin so you can't connect without TZAC. TZAC only works with Windows XP/Vista/7. Linux version coming soon.

Why do you need it?

Because punkbuster is not in use anymore and TZAC is working pretty good, TZAC is now global anticheat system. Most wars are played with TZAC on, so you should get one.

Where to get and how to use it?

Download TZAC from here http://tz-ac.com/downloads.php (Windows client). You have to make now a user in http://tz-ac.com/. If your account is done, run TZAC. Fill the login blanks and point it to your 2.60b ET.exe. It is located on your 2.60b ET folder.

Note! Some Antivirus programs count TZAC a virus. Just disable Antivirus while you are playing ET.

Now press 'Start the game' and try to connect to TWC WarServer

/connect 85.214.159.249:20000; password ******
(you can find password here http://board.twcclan.org/showthread.php?tid=149 )

If you get in, it's working.

If you have any problems with TZAC read the FAQ http://tz-ac.com/topic.php?id=9
