hi guys, here i will teach you (and everyone else who visits this tutorial
) how to have colours, anywere, even in your name. (if you have colours in your name, you cant join servers but you can host them and visitors will see the colours in you name
)
to do this, just put a § symbol (you dont have one on your keyboard, so use the character map.) and put a number after it. just like et, you use the ^ symbol and then put a number or letter after it and it gives you colour. well the same goes for minecraft except i dont think all the letters work. (each number/letter gives you a specific colour) so for example:
-numbers-
§0 = black
§1 = dark blue
§2 = green
§3 = blue
§4 = red
§5 = purple
§6 = dark-goldish yellow
§7 = light grey
§8 = dark grey
§9 = darkish blue
-letters-
§a = light green
§b = cyan (light blue)
§c = light red
§d = pink (for those who are gay
)
§e = yellow
§f = white
there are also font changers (i call them that) like bold, itallic etc. and you can have these in minecraft too by doing the same thing, only using different letters:
-font changers-
§L = bold
§o = italic
§n = underlined
§m = strikethrough text
§k = i actually dont know how this works, it makes animated text :o
§r = resets all coloured text before this
i hope you enjoyed my tutorial
