This is what i exactly mean Nirv, You are going to cater this server towards 1 certain type of players. Which is wrong if u want more activity.

That the server died out has nothing to do with the rules are applied. It had to do with the amount of time it was offline and its regular guests found different server.
Trust me you gonna kill this server completely if u apply the selfkill rule and heavy sk rule. you gonna cater them towards the tryhards that hate panzerdeaths and u all know there are alot of people that still play TWC ND that love the panzer ocasionally.

Removing rules is not the solution to activity. It never was and never will be.
I know u and Narko love etpro but this is not etpro this is jaymod. Its made to keep it fun for every group of player and not the semi wannabe pro's. Yes i get bit annoyed about this since you all know ND was my server. Hate to see it gets ruined by a bunch of etpro wannabe's

FA and ETc seems to be doing just fine with similar rules regarding SK and selfkill. It's jaymod and nitmod. And they are not etpro wannabes, they are simple and casual public players.
Just like me, i'm a casual public player, I play for fun, I play to do the obj, for team play. I'm low skilled and far from being an etpro wannabe.

I stopped clanwars and etpro over 10 years ago. etpro has nothing to do with the way I manage ND.
If I would want something similar to etpro, I would take off soldier class under 5v5/6v6, dissallow mines and rifle under 5v5/6v6, and reduce explosions, grenades and panzer damage, reduce the mines to 5-10 and put longer spawntime.
And put on teamkill for kill/revive.
But i'm not planning to turn ND into this.

I'm giving less rules, which is more freedom to current members and potentially to new guests. And less admin work for our members and admins.

This coupled with the daily meetings, I'm sure we can attract new people.

We will see the outcome of this, but we can't deny that something had to be done with ND.
If it works, then that's wonderful and we can gain hopefully great member base again and great activity again.
If it doesn't work and it dies out completely, well too bad for ND/TWC. But at least we tried our best.


PS : if you think you are more capable than me, then i'll gladly give you my supreme spot and you can revive ND with your own methods, and let's see how things work out.
