Just tested these settings
overall i feel good with it, it bring one thing i was looking for a while, a clear contrast that enable to do a clear difference between a wall and a player.
just tried 10 minutes for now, but interesting, and as you said, nothing will replace training your mouse skill.
One downfall, is that it reduce drastically the texture quality, but maybe its the price to pay to see clearly better the players than the landscape
