Don't think we need benchmarks to tell that your setup with a better CPU and better GPU will destroy mine

Nice config, but why a so big PSU ?
With your config, 600W should be quite enough, except if you intend to install a future 1080 or 2080 SLI...

My counter question is: Why not?
With it's 10 year warranty it will supposedly last me few future upgrades no matter how crazy of a setup I might go for. Secondly I got a decent deal for it.
With today's efficient PSUs I'd rather get 100W extra than be right at the requirement.
