I actually didn't know that album! But it's great, thanks for the tip! I really liked those songs you recommended, they are all very peaceful and beautiful Privateering is my favourite of them so far. I heard of Mark Knopfler before and of course already knew his original band Dire Straits, but didn't really listen to his solo stuff yet. I'll definitely discover him some more

I couldn't really think of anything similar to that, except maybe Johnny Cash. But I personally am not such a big fan of him. I could recommend you some more acoustic-based songs though, if you're into that kind of stuff :P

I really like Bob Dylan's first few albums. Some very nice acoustic songs there..

Then Nick Drake. You might as well check out the whole album^^

And one more song which is pretty recent but also heavily influenced by Dylan

Oh and glad to hear you like that Audioslave song. You might as well check out the song "The Last Remaining Light" then, it's just as good as the other one (imo at least).

Totally missed this post damnit lol. Glad someone bumped it to find it . I've checked them all. I must admit, I had never really listened to Bob Dylan before. Loved it the most of all the songs you put in ur last post . I looked him up on Spotify and it kept on showing me TONS of albums lol. Crazy amount of new music to fill my day with today when studying I don't know why I never listened to his music before. I guess everyone has heard his name at least once XD. This guitar in the other song sounds nice too, Drake guy :P.

The Fault Line song is really good as well! It's not on Spotify I checked out some other songs, interesting band

I'm not such a Cash-fan either hahah. Just this one song, "hurt". Something about it, it's the only song I like by Cash.

Are you familiair with Sufjan Stevens? His music is so original imo. If you are interested, you should check out his album Illinois. He's produced it himself and it's brilliant. Link is down here, hope you like it, it's mesmerizing . I'm very fond of the first couple songs.

I stumbled upon The Eagles while scrolling my Spotifylist and I cannot help but sharing. I think u know most, but for the ppl who don't, here are some Eagles-songs that aren't as 'famous' as Hotel California, but just as great:
