W:ET Jaymod

Hello guys.
Sooo,after a big pause of ET,i've returned.I've installed ET Legacy and if i am correct,its the 2.75 version of the game.
All nice and good,i can play on nitmod without any problems.But...

The other days,even today,i've tried to connect on JM servers like ND or Sniper,all good and nice until the download stopped,quitted and shows me this message in the console : VM_Create on UI Failed.

I've searched for some help but I didn't find at all.
Also,I saw a message which said :

"Failed loading C:\Users\danny\Documents\ETLegacy\jaymod\ui_mp_x86.dll: The specified module could not be found."


So,I hope you guys will help me,cuz i want to play on jm servers too

I've seen you tried to connect, but couldn't join the game. Uh, I am not sure what the issue is. I was told that ETLegacy couldn't support characters like '{', so I have renamed the false file and it should be working. The file name was not ui_mp_x86.dll though.

We will try to find the answer soon Hold on.

EDIT: I did a quick research and came to a conslusion: Try running your ET (right click on the game starter) as administrator and be sure to set the game compatabilty with Windows XP. Best of luck.

But i already did this and it shows me the same thing,i should install the normal ET or maybe install jaymod instead

Normal ET sounds good , sorry I don’t have experience with legacy, I don’t use legacy coz it’s (imo) shit and bugged

i try an other way.



on a fresh install of ET legacy, it was impossible to connect to FA server.



I choose Silent for exemple and get the same error with a missing dll : ui_mp_x86.dll



I just copy this dll from ET folder (in programs files) to ETlegacy folder in C:\Users\Ecoban\Documents\ETLegacy\silent.
