New Year, new goals. - ZonElax - 30-12-2024
Dear TWC community,
it's not an easy thing for me to say this, but the time has come to move forward, and focus on other more important things in life. Wolfenstein has always been my favourite game to play with friends and even family, but now that I have my own family member, it's time to stop playing video games, and rather spend time with my son.
You have no idea how much this community means to me, and how much time and effort I have put into it. It really saddens me to even think about leaving all this behind, but it's the only reasonable thing to do. I've tried my best to be helpful, kind and nice to everyone, I hope you recognised that in the last 15 years of being part of this clan. Yes, it has been 15 years since I joined Panzerwar! I have been blessed enough to become one of the leading people and share my help and knowledge to others. I have met a lot of players on my 15 year journey, some will be forever in my heart, and with some I even met in real life. This has truly been one the best parts of a community, to be able to meet people around the world. Thank you so much for meeting me Paul with his wife and little daughter, General Smith, Strax and dear Slash. I am grateful for every single one of you.
Wolfenstein has taught me how to be a better person, a teacher, a leader, a helping hand and many more. I have made a lot of signatures and maps for people to enjoy, and to make memories, competitions and mostly have fun on daily meetings. So many thing have happened, so many friendships lost, so many recruited members, in summary, very colorful and eventful 15 years.
For the past few years I have been struggling with activity, due to renovating the house we're currently staying in, with the wedding, with the new job and work schedule, and now with the baby boy, who needs constant support and presence. Along the way I have found days to play the game and attend daily meetings, which were also one of the best things that happened to me. I had so much fun on voice chat with you guys, it really was the highlight of my day, for that I am grateful. I know it wasn't always simple and nice, but in general, we're a very decent clan.
Anyways, enough of my stories and feelings before I shed a tear. If you haven't figured out by now, this is a farewell post. I wish I gave you all the best experiences you can get from a clan, and I am sorry if I let anyone down. I think I was a decent guy many will think of or remember me by.
Without any further ado, I wish you all a Marry Christmas and a happy New Year! I will miss you guys and I won't stop thinking of you, ever.

Dear Zone,
I'd like to thank you for all your kindness, relaxed approach and all the fun we had together playing and in the clan.
I've always valued you very high in the TWC community and was relieved when you got the Mastersupreme spot back in the day.
We really have been through some highs and lows the last almost 7 years I've been around with TWC and you.
It is very sad to see you finally go, but I can understand the reasons. All good things come to an end at last.
Our members are getting less and less, but I hope we remaining supremes can still carry on for a bit.
If wish you the very best with your family and hope you will still be around as a guest.

So, this is the end of an era, at least for me. I am not surprised because I expected you to do it sooner or later after the birth of the baby, and I understand because it’s what I would have done too. Family comes first.
I would like to thank you for games - first on PW, where we met for the first time when there was still a lot of activity, and later during events and daily meetings when we tried to pull this clan out of the hole. Thank you for the good laughs in game chat and on DC, for trusting me and making me Supreme, and for taking care of the clan all these years, even before you became MST.
I hope that you will still visit us.

ZonElax, in a few words, you were God to me and surely everyone that admire your work and loyalty will miss you and praise you as a unique person. We and TWC will miss you alot.

I won't say farewell as i'm sure we'll meet again & stay in touch.
That aside, a HUGE thankyou for everything you've done here and for myself in particular!
You've been a very big part of the clan and also a big reason i used to have fun playing ET (it's been a while for myself aswell)
We'll be seeing eachother! Hopefuly next summer
