Merging Jaymod and Beginners - ZonElax - 11-06-2021
Hello people,
As you can see by the title of this thread, we the Supremes have came to the idea of merging Jaymod and Beginners. That way we can focus on one active server, rather than on two semi-active ones. Unfortunately for Jaymod players this change would be a bit hard to process, but Nitmod has a lot more updates and it's easier to work with. Moreover, all of the members from Jaymod and BG will be joined together, meaning we have to establish a good HA base. More details will follow soon.
As for the new name of the server, we were thinking about N!tmod. We all know Beginners server is no longer a beginners server, as there are pretty skilled players playing on a daily basis. Of course, we cannot keep the name Jaymod, since it's not running on that mod anymore.
Also, we would like to add additional Supreme to the mixture. We believe Benzje is suitable enough for the job. Narko (Jaymod) and Conqueror (Beginners) will remain Supremes on the new server. It breaks my heart, but LePresident will most likely be removed from his spot. Reason being is that he is no longer active as he once was. He has made a lot for TWC and we are grateful for his dedication, but his time has come to and end as a Supreme.
This is currently an idea, which will most likely happen, but we would like to hear some opinions first. Thank you for your trust. We believe this will not only benefit TWC as a clan, but also for general acticity and recognition.

I don't know about this detail yet, it's sad to see a server go, but we don't have enough members or guests to afford two similar servers active. I know we have just launched Events server, but I believe this kind of change is good for us

In my opinion is this the best way to get 1 active server again instead of 2 empty servers.
It became hard to find active ppl who are still interested in playing ET.
So we should team up & make the best of it!
Im sure that everyone prefers playing against other people instead of shooting bots 24/7
I do really hope that the jaymod members also like nitmod, because well there is a difference of course.
So i do think that the opinion of the ND members is the most important in here.

As we can see, BG hasn't got any problems about this change. But as Benzj said, we still need the approval from Jaymod ha's and members.
The main idea is that we are always ready for this change (BG).

Agree, more beneficial to focus on one server even tho these 2 servers are very different but atleast I have no problem with this.

We already discussed this with nirv months ago.
For me it's the only logical solution right now looking at the member base.
You should also think about merging Panzer- and Sniperwar and alternate the mod like 1 week or something.
I thought Conqueror left the clan?

That's much harder than it looks like. As the topic was discussed, someone (maybe Thrasher) pointed out that a mixed server may not be as popular or valuable as the mentioned servers separately. Most of the PW players don't play SW and vice versa. That means ppl have to wait until they can play the preferred gametype, and that waiting might result in lower activity; In case ppl want to play only one gametype, they would go to another clan which has a wide selection of servers with customized mods. Also switching Jaymod and Nitmod on a weekly basis could be confusing.
On the other hand, this idea is still worth considering, because activity might be worse some time later. But I would make this decision as a last resort.
