All,
What is better than playing on the good old ND server with fellow TWC members and friends of the clan?
I know what you are thinking: nothing is!
Sadly the server is deserted lately. This makes me sad and wondering, what can we do to increase activity?
Somebody got a nice idea?

It's hard to put your finger on a specific reasoning behind the decreased inactivity because you would think the player base would increase due to lockdowns. I guess not for ND.
Maybe look at more meetings like we've done before to see if we can gain some. An event on ND could be good, I've not seen one ever on ND, some riflewar, gravity off, panzerwars. Something not normally seen on ND and maybe prizes for winners, signatures and or avatars or a reward on your forum profile.

Rising regular activity and hold regular meetings would help I guess.
When people play regular, guests will come and join.
Though there is a hard decline of jaymod in general since last year.

We prolly need events, as mentioned before. IMO we should make that try, what could go wrong?
Possible a soundpack? I mean yeah it's "NoDownload".
We kinda could change the name, you can do so much in jaymod, other Jaymod servers are mostly crowded. ET isnt the same, as like 5 years ago that's for sure. But we should kinda evolve in these things. Why could'nt we make a change? What should we lose? In my opinion it's worth a try, trying to change the Server a bit.
Many people doesnt like the usual gameplay, they want soundpacks, higher DoubleJump, more ammo, skins etc.
I know NoDownload hasnt changed that much in the past years. But we can do something about it.
Let's make ND active again!

Maybe it's time to have the discussion in transforming the server to something apart from the oldschool ND feel.

a soundpack is easy to do, there are enough around and they have proper sizes. ( like the one I tested on BG, it is only 6 mb ) Or there are some people in the clan that could make one specially designed for ND.?!

Something tells me that a funky dated soundpack wouldn't help as such. Also a lot of people have the main chat sounds turned off. An event or a handful of events would be ideal.

I think you are right there Valk, this whole clan happening needs only one thing.................active members.!! you can make events as much you want, but if there are no active members it is like putting the horse behind the wagon. But it maybe could attract members to be more active. There is only one thing to do...........just try it.

A few months ago I asked some ppl about a possible mixture of ND - HS, however the idea just got denied without consideration, and I couldn't even give a proper explanation.
Since ND and HS are still suffering from inactivity, I would merge the servers and the memberbase. After that it would be easy to set up a new schedule: only hs weekend or different events (just like the upcoming 9th 1v1 cup) could be organized on the "hybrid" server in order to increase activity. And I didn't even mention the addition of PsA meetings...
Why ND+HS?
- Because most of the ND members are familiar with HS membership (and vice versa, when it comes to player/server activity).
- Because both servers are running under Jaymod.
- Because HS is kinda dead (Sorry Snow and Santa)...but we can see the numbers, this is a fact.
+ Some members were dreaming about new type of TWC servers like silent, so there would be an empty server to try out something new.
I'm not forcing/telling you to do it, but I'm trying to show you a possible way to "max out" the server activity.

I think Warden has good idea.
HS never has people anymore unless its a event.
And i have noticed ND suffers atm a lot too.
It would be ideal in my opinion if HS and ND merged and we had "normal ND" settings most of the time but we had some schedule to make it HSonly on some specific days during a week.
I dont see any harm doing like that.
