RE: Binding - |Warden - 02-04-2020 You create a config file (copy etconfig in etmain folder) rename it to [configname1].cfg Open it and delete all of it's content. Type the following things (without "/" !!!): Code: seta name [your new colored nickname]
say [the colored message, that you would like to print on screen after activating the config]Save it to your etmain folder. Make a copy of this config and rename it to [configname2].cfg Edit the config: Code: seta name [your original colored nickname]
say [the colored message, that you would like to print on screen after activating the config and setting your original name]Get in game, expand console and type the following commands (with "/" this time): Code: /bind [key1] exec [configname1]
/bind [key2] exec [configname2]Press [key1] and [key2] to see the magic ![]() +edit you can add different sounds to different name changes. Type vsay instead say in your config files: Code: seta name [colored nick]
vsay [name of the song/sound effect] [colored message printed on screen]RE: Binding - G0Dness - 02-04-2020 (02-04-2020, 12:22 PM)|Warden Wrote: You create a config file (copy etconfig in etmain folder) rename it to [configname1].cfg Open it and delete all of it's content. RE: Binding - Lanttu - 02-04-2020 you can also use vstr, you dont have to bind multiple keys to change names. Im pretty sure you can add vsays and text on it aswell but i forgot how to do it but it should be similar to what warden put. this is what I use: bind f8 "vstr nicktoggle; set nick1 "name ^6-^7TWC^6|Lanttu^7.^6|^7RCTR;set nicktoggle vstr nick2" set nick2 "name ^e-^7TWC^e|Lanttu^7.^e|^7RCTR;set nicktoggle vstr nick1" set nicktoggle "vstr nick1" always edit the last vstr nick to "vstr nick1" , so having 3 names would look like this: bind f8 "vstr nicktoggle; set nick1 "name ^6-^7TWC^6|Lanttu^7.^6|^7RCTR;set nicktoggle vstr nick2" set nick2 "name ^e-^7TWC^e|Lanttu^7.^e|^7RCTR;set nicktoggle vstr nick3" set nick3 "name ^e-^7TWC^e|^7Lanttu^e.|RCTR;set nicktoggle vstr nick1" set nicktoggle "vstr nick1" now just click f8 (or what ever key you choose to bind) and it will switch between names
