silEnT vs NoQuarter - Fortin - 28-05-2019
Dear Guys and Girls of TWC clan,
I'm just posting this little thread, because I need your opinion about our NQ server. There were some "options/requests" (idk. the best phrase atm.) about a silEnT server before Hammy made NQ available for us.
"What do you think? Is it worthy, to open a silEnT server and replace the NQ?"
Some reasons to make it easier for you:
+As you can see, most of the NQ servers (except FA and BlackG NQ) aren't so popular as they used to be. TWC NQ has a terrible activity recently.
+Our NQ server is not perfect (some of us were trying to make it better, however it's not worthy to start upgrading it without enough knowledege @Fortin kappa). And there were some members, who said that they could help to open a silEnT server. (I don't remember them exactly).
+Since silEnT servers are not "as difficult as NQ" servers, it might be easier to manage the server settings. (It's not the best reason ofc.)
It's just an idea ofc. Ligustah said, he don't see any problem with it. If you made a decision, we would discuss some things...and MAYBE we would start creating a new server, wich is called -TWC|Silent (or smth like this).

Silent is definately a better option in my opinion, but i wouldn't expect much from it either in all honesty. It's worth a shot but i doubt opening a memberbase for silent would harvest any better results as NQ

For me, Silentmod is the most hard mod after etpro, clearly i prefer silent than nq mod.

Well, I didn't mention the memberbase, however the original plan doesn't include a new memberbase (for silEnT server). It would be just a server wich can be used for meetings and events. Supremes would have also permissions to manage the server if they want.
I would like to solve the problem, that I caused with my leaving. In my personal opinion it would be great if I could make a silEnT server available for you.

I prefer NQ mod. Of course, silent is also good but NQ has really big potential if you know how to use it. There is one condition: NQ must be compatible with server without lua scripts and some additional you can running NQ server... empty server...

I understand you; you've done a lot to make this server better from time to time. But it's almost impossible to manage the server and get more players. It's just an experience: some types of servers are more popular and some of them are not; unfortunately NQ is included in the 2nd group.
I have to mention that activity is increasing on NQ. The post is just a "question" about opening a new server. We might close NQ but IT IS NOT SURE at the moment
I'm just waiting for an important reply, and I'll inform you about the decusion.
