OK, let's see if there's a lot of old buddies here...
You remember your first FPS, the first time you played this kinda game ?
For me, it was Wolfenstein in 1992, quickly followed by DOOM in 1993.
And that, with my old 386 33MHz, whose didn't have enough power to play fullscreen, I was playing with a half or a third of the screen.
A 486 was needed to play fullscreen !
If you're old enough, you know what I mean...
And unfortunatly, it wasn't easy to play LAN games with DOOM since TCP/IP was not included in the game.
It was corrected with DOOM 2, so the first LAN party I ever made was in 1994, with 4 persons and only two PCs
But a lot of fun...
Map editors for Wolfenstein and DOOM were available, and easy to use, so we also had a lot of good moments thanks to that
Definitively good games, but make me feel like a dinosaur...

My first FPS game was W:ET, I remember playing when I was 7/8 years old when my Dad would take cigarette breaks, back in 2003.

Just passing by and even tho im kinda young i may as well post my first fps. It was in 2007 when i was 8 years old, call of duty 4 modern warfare

That game was amazing, back to basics with CoD. MW2 was one of the greatest games ever made.

My first FPS was Wolfenstein 3D. I played this game when I was young in my friend with school because I havn't PC. I remember we open Norton Commander and copy the game from few floopy disks
Second was Spear of Destiny (for me the best FPS as for those times - it was Wolfensein continuation).
Tear turns in the eye to the memory of those beautiful times...
