ET Legacy error (archived by NightFall) - Chucky - 03-11-2017
Hi Guys,
I used to play with PlayOnMac some sort of wine, but for some reason I got an error and that does not seem to work anymore.
Vicky told me that ET Legacy was easy to download on Macbook Pro Retina 2012, so I downloaded that and got the following issue. I can open ET Legacy and have open all the various servers. I click on No Download and I can see the map start loading. After loading is complete it shuts down and brings me back to Desktop.

Yup , got that error and here is the way how to fix it:
So as you use playonmac it creates sub folders , and u need to find them and copy the right content inside of them.
So firstly , u see this in the error log :
/Users/Cucky/Library/Application Support/etlegacy/etmain/pak2.pk3 (22 files)
/Users/Chucky/Library/Application Support/etlegacy/etmain/pak1.pk3 (10 files)
/Users/Chucky/Library/Application Support/etlegacy/etmain/pak0.pk3 (3725 files)
you need to locate this path: ( Finder - go to folder right click ) :
/Users/Cucky/Library/Application Support/etlegacy/etmain
and copy there the pak- files ( pak0 , pak1 , pak2 ) to etmain folder , if there isnt any folders then you need to create a folder MANUALLY
SECONDLY Which i've missed and it caused several troubles with it - so as you play on playonmac , wine it creates another sub folder -for me it was this path:
/Users/vikiszalai/Documents/My new Wine prefix/drive_c/users/vikiszalai/Dokuments
So basically - you need to locate the wine folder ( as it should be ) on your mac then assuming there should be a 'Chucky' folder there - and inside that do Documents
So what you need to copy here ? basically the whole ETLegacy folder ( i copied from Windows ) - THIS should include the jaymod folder aswell - since that is the reason which cause you crashing and cannot visiting ND , or any other Jaymod servers
Also there could be more errors , thats why i suggested installing WineBottler instead of PlayonMac in the first place :P

Copy pasted the other file docs inside the Etmain and its there....

You sure about the sub folders though ? , in Documents ?
I didnt get either what was the prob but finding that map worked out for me.
